When people say "take several seats"....

Do they mean, sitting in several different seats at one time? Or alternating between sitting and standing several times? And do you sit in a different seat every time, or the same seat? Srsly

People need to be more specific, many times messages are not accurately received over the internet.

not at all ....................................................

check again what it really means maybe.

I know what it means we did a whole unit of literary phrases in AP English Lang

Hyperbole uses COMPARISONS or BOUNDLESS terms to exaggerate

Which this does not

Hyperbole example

I am so hungry I could eat a horse

Hunger to horse

Her brain is the size of a pea

Brain to pea

He's got tons of money

Tons = Boundless

oh

maybe check the definition of "or" then

[breaking news] it doesnt NEED to be a comparison, which is funny because your last example isn't a comparison. So the question is, do you even fully understand what you're talking about because it doesnt seem like it

Forget it I was just helping you understand it

Yes it does it's comparing an infinite amount of something to the money

It's not a hyperbole if it's a slang term that has questionable meaning which is why op made the threadd

I think you mean it's a euphemism
