After a year, do you think the Produce 101 group will become a rotational group

Produce 101 seems to be getting more popular now (even Pick Me Up is climbing back on the top 100 on Melon). And assuming after a year the OT11 becomes a success, I feel like they group in general won't totally disband.

 

I think that the group will become rotational, those who are ready to debut in their companies would leave while those who are part of OT11 but their companies aren't ready to debut them will stay with the new OT11 (either from a season 2 of the show or Mnet just adding whoever they want behind closed doors).

 

Idk just something I could see happening.

Nah. I think they might do a second season of the show though.

Don't think so. Once the top members leave to debut with their groups, people will lose interest in the group.

if they become really successfull then I think they might keep the group as it is and won't disband them

Maybe if SM was producing the show. But I think there will be a 2nd season. And every year the Original 11 can have a special stage.

If they will succeed I feel like they will try to keep those trainees. Usually trainee contract isnt that hard and leaving isnt that big of a problem. And if they met success I doubt even the girls would like to disband after year. Lets be real from possible line up only Somi's company can give her as rookie more than MNET.

I think there will be occassional reunions for their comeback after their tenure as OT11.
