Old Viki = Less ads and Free HD. New Viki = DramaFever. Now that Viki made these changes, what do they have to offer that sets them apart from their competitors? Viki's fast uploads, timed comments, and real-time subs won't be good enough reasons for me to stay anymore. there are other drama sites u know Yes, I know that. What makes you think Viki is the only site I go to watch dramas? Viki has always been my main drama site, because of its Video-on-demand service, almost non-existent ads on videos, HD quality videos, and its unique real-time subtitle feature. The recent changes that were made have ruined my whole drama viewing experience. Hence, why I created this thread with the sole purpose of expressing how I feel about Viki right now. But its understandable. Viki needs money to be able sustain itself, and to offer such great services to their consumers. i only watch stuff on viki as a last resort but i might stop doing even that now. Same. I have great alternatives to Viki that offer HD quality video streaming with no ads whatsoever. dramafever is so much better. The translation at viki sucks. I would have to agree with your statement. Then the video snapped to where I left off, and I got another ad. After that, the video plays for a second or two and then I get another ad. Not here for this, Viki. I used to brag about how they did everything that DramaFever did (+ timed comments and a better Android app) but for free, but whatever. Um, I don't think the funds that Viki gathers from subscriptions and ads are even meant to be used to pay the subbers. You do realize the subtitles at Viki have always been based on a non-profit subtitling system, right?
