Was out of town over the weekend, so I wasn't able to post >.<

I subbed this as quickly as I could once I got back!

 

 

Last weekend, they performed at Migliore (search for "160501 bloomy" and you'll find fancams) and had a few other private performances. Also, they pre-recorded for Simply K-Pop! ^^ Which will air on Friday, the 6th??

Bloomy also appeared on the 몰빵ì‹êµ¬ (molbbang sikgu... "-something- family"...idk XD lol) webshow, where one of the hosts served as Bloomy's manager for the day. I've only skimmed through the first part - they visit the girls at their hair salon as they're getting ready for schedules (this was filmed the same day as Simply K-Pop). Apparently Bloomy and boy group A.cian share the same shop.

 

The entire show is around 4 hours long... and it's quite difficult to hear what they're saying... so yeahhh not going to sub that x_x  Their CEO filmed for their FB page 1 / 2 / 3, as they were streaming the show; idk if anything different is shown? If I find anything interesting, I'll make some cuts and sub them, though. ///sidenote: their real main manager/team leader is pretty cute, yo! keke

 

Just a few days until Bloomy's 100th day! Time flies!! Since they're having a fanmeeting for their 100th day, I wonder if they're still going to do something special when they reach 777 fancafe members?

I skipped through all of the Molbbang Sikgu appearance, and Bloomy watching Twice's rehearsal was probably the most entertaining part (...or just the most memorable? idk that show was way too longgg lol)They've been appearing at the same events and music shows, recently, so hopefully both groups can become friends! ^^

Based on their updates, it looks like the fanclub name is officially called 가드너 (Gardener)!

[sidenote: I don't know if it's one of the "official" intended meanings, but the hangeul 가드너 can also be interpreted as "가드 (ga-deu i.e. guard)" + "너 (neo i.e. you)" - so it's like we're guarding Bloomy? ^^]

Recently, Yeonji's been going around calling herself "Bloomy's dad". On last week's Molbbang Sikgu at SGC, they recounted a time Yeonji was dad-like: One day, at their dorm, the girls suddenly heard Jiyun crying at 2 in the morning. They were worried something bad had happened, so they all rushed to see if she was okay. Yeonji asked her, "Why are you crying?!" Jiyun, shaking and crying, told them, "I saw a bug! It was huge and it had a bunch of legs!!!" They kept urging Jiyun to stop crying, then Yeonji went and took care of the bug situation! XD

Yeah, Jiyun's like the group's spokesperson and Geonyoung's dependable co-pilot. Yeonji reminds me of CP's Ellin a lot. She's got that mischievous/naive/self-righteous personality that's super entertaining LOLL Seoyeon's still the most awkward talking on camera, but she's opening up and showing her personality more. She's supposed to be the 4D one, so hopefully we'll get to see just how weird she is in the future! haha Geonyoung's very much the mom of the group - very attentive and thoughtful, always making sure things are going smoothly and taking care of everyone. (She gave the hosts of Molbbang Sikgu snacks and drinks and even started fanning them) But she can also be very blunt and goofy, too ^^

Wonder what they're doing in China for two weeks?? The past few times they've had performances/schedules in China, they kind of disappeared... (no fancams/SNS updates). They recorded a fishing program in Seoyeon's hometown, a few days ago, so at least there's the possibility it'll be aired while they're abroad.

 

Idk if they're getting their own V channel or just appearing on a special broadcast, but they have a show on 6/20. No further info is available atm. The V App schedule only goes up to 6/7 >_<

 

In other news, DS Ent. has become a little more strict about fanmeetings and such. Usually, Bloomy have held impromptu mini fanmeetings before/after almost all of their schedules, but now DS Ent. is only going to allow fans to meet Bloomy during pre-determined mini-fanmeetings. According to the staff, "having meetings every time diminishes the meaning of official fanmeetings" or something? A bit odd and unfortunate from a fan perspective (the comments on the announcement post are filled with sad stickers/emojis lol), especially since they're still nugus. Hopefully this change isn't due to something shady, and they're just looking after the members' well-being.

K-fans and foreigners with access to Korean phone numbers, for various reasons (The fancafes I'm a member of that I can recall had this happen are Crayon Pop's and TREN-D's??). ////question: I've always wondered - what are the hearts on V App really for? Like do the artists get stuff (money?) from Naver/V App, is their any real incentive for artists and fans to try to get 34123413 hearts? (besides just seeing the number go up lol) Do groups get penalized if they don't reach a certain number of hearts or something? Bloomy's show on Monday is probably a trial run... Hopefully they reach the goal set for them and really get their own channel!

They seemed very nervous, often repeating themselves. They filled every minute with noise ( ) but sometimes a little silence is fine. Hope next time they are more relaxed, especially Jiyun.

 

I've never really noticed before but Seoyeon is very charming and funny.  

Yeonji is always gorgeous.

 

Even after Yeonji did, some fans kept insisting she speak more. Hope she wasn't overwhelmed by it >.< Jiyun also said of few things in English, as well. One of these days I'll make a compilation!

 

They probably had a script/sequence they were supposed to follow, but the live comments may have thrown them off track a lot? There were many basic things new viewers/fans wouldn't know (their ages, how they became a group, introducing their fandom) that I was surprised they didn’t cover. As the leader, Geonyoung needs to get better at keeping the order and being a little more reasonable (their little debate about their debut date was a mess LOL Even though fans were saying 2/1, Geonyoung kept saying it was 2/18…Their 100th Day anniversary was counted from 2/1. Thank goodness Seoyeon saved them!) But that's what's so endearing about rookie groups, they still have that awkwardness and the rough edges that are especially apparent during live shows ^-^

 

Yeonji blatantly assails you with charm grenades; Seoyeon sneaks up on you like a charm sniper. Seoyeon is everyone’s ultimate Bloomy bias but they just don’t know it, yet ;D
