Shit is so bizarre. I studied up on Bacha Bazi (young boys dressed up and dancing for men) while I lived in Afghanistan. One of the things the Taliban did not tolerate was that shit. We're not perfect when it comes to tolerance of LGBT, but our laws extend us full rights and protections to the same level of straight people and so I can feel some sense of security. It isn't but it's practically normal. Basically something people know about but they don't talk about it out in the open like it's ok. Police are sometimes involved and even organize the functions. So means both gender will be punished as being homophobic. Since we have 3 main races here which mean a lot of religions here but still law based on islamic.
