The only album that i see it on is a compilation album called J世紀 Jeneration. It must have been one of the new tracks for it. I've actually never heard it until now because i never downloaded her compilation albums. 

me either. I only have her albums and dancing forever cause of some of the songs on there ^^ Thanks!

 

So... I haven't heard any of her new album since Butterfly.    Are they any good? Please recommend me a good album!

 

i'm at that point where im going back to canto and mandopop.. kpop doesn't interest me anymore. kinda feel guilty for neglecting it. hopefully i can backtrack all i missed these past years.

There's been 3 since Butterfly. All of them have their good songs but idk how i would rank them. I would say listen to Play first since it's new.

OMG you didn't listen to anything released after Butterfly? You missed a lot then... Since she got way more exposure worldwide -among people who listen to Asian Music- starting from Myself, and especially MUSE.

Jolin basically entered a new era. Since Myself (the album released after Butterfly), she's been involving herself a lot in the conception of her albums, to the point that she produced herself her latest album PLAY.

As for recommending an album, it depends on what you're looking for... Myself is 80% upbeat, 20% slow songs. It has 7 MVs.

MUSE is half-upbeat half-ballads, but it's a huge change music and especially visual-wise in her career. This one has 10 MVs. The title song The Great Artist got a Golden Melody Award in 2013 for Song of The Year.

In PLAY ballads are less "C-Poppish" than usual, she's singing an opera part in a song called Miss Trouble, has a collaboration with Namie Amuro, a song talking about same-sex marriage, another one talking about society nowadays and songs that don't only talk about love. It has 9 MVs.

 

By the way, the song you're looking for, it's in Dancing Forever 2 CD+DVD. It's some kind of mini-album. It got released after Dancing Diva. This song is a cover, I read somewhere that it was a traditional Taiwanese song in the first place or something?

I missed a ton. I didn't listen to any chinese music for quite a while.. I think I DLed one of her new album once and deleted it cause it wasn't my type of music. I'll have to go and listen to it again. Right now i'm watching the "myself" world tour concert. Her stage presence is still amazing ;-; so great. The choreography for this concert is a great step up from her previous ones as well. She changes so often  it's almost an outfit per song! WOW! 

I might listen to MUSE and Play first before Myself since I prefer ballads and her mid tempo songs. Any cute songs like, "wonder in Madrid" ? I'm gonna have to listen to "miss trouble" I love opera!!!!!

Thank you for the information! The song is called "going to the graveyard" (i think...) and it is a traditional taiwanese song back in the 1960's. I wanted to find a good .mp3 of it since youtube quality sucks. Thank you!

Myself World Tour is great! Several songs from Myself and MUSE are in that concert, mostly the upbeat ones though.

 

Myself has a cute song in it, it's called Take immediate action. I guess that Friday the 13th in MUSE can be seen as the cute song of the album? In PLAY you have Phony Queen which can be considered a cute song as well I guess. But both are very different from her old cute songs... i don't know if you'll like them.

I don't like phony queen, but I love Friday the 13th! :D  Thank you for the recommendations!
