Do you think these Pledis Girls will be the New After School

Seeing as members are graduating from After School and are now down to Orange Caramel + Uee + E-young + Kaeun, could the new Pledis Girls (and maybe some other AS members) possibly be the new After School?

It isn't something I'd necessarily want, but tbh I could see it happening.

 

Reasons I could see it happening:

-After School has the graduation system and adds new members

-The age gap between these girls and the current After School members aren't that big

-Possibly more of the current After School lineup may leave

-Can bring back early After School's concepts

-Could still keep the name going

 

But it may also not happen because

-Pledis may not want After School to continue

-Prevent possible backlash

-Possibly more trainees aside from these 7

-These girls could possibly be more of a female counterpart to Seventeen then the younger After School

I know these girls more than the recent After School additions. I don't know Kaeun at all and she's been in After School for years.

They said Pre-Girls, so I would assume so. I honestly wouldn't mind if it happened. I knew what I was getting into when I started stanning after school, and graduation is a part of that. I like these girls, they can fill the gap.

I would like them to be in their own new group rather than in AS. They will have more chance to shine. Look at what happened to Eyoung and Kaeun, so sad

E-Young (leader), Kaeun + Pledis Girls would be a great nine-member After School.

Plus they'd feel like a new group anyway since E-Young did not really get popular on her own.

 

I don't mind a new After School. Bringing on a fresh new girls and changing the group's concept to suit the new girls more would be interesting. Honestly, it would be more cost friendly to debut these girls as the New After School, and imagine the media hype on them if they do so!

She sounded even better doing Bomi's part in the episode!! (They didn't even air it in the performance  )

 

But I agree with the others that unless they revamp the AS as a whole member wise, it would be better to just create a new group that doesn't have a graduation project. Kinda anxious to see what Pledis is gonna do next considering Seventeen's success and the high probability that Pinky + 1 more Pledis girl might end up promoting 1 year in the Produce 101's gg.

All of the original members have already left afterschool so, I wouldn't mind either of those options if more After School members graduate (and sadly I think they will) it'd be nice if they are the new trainees that will replace them, I didn't  know about them before Produce 101  and little by little I'm getting to know more about them and I'm totally liking them (I still don't know all of their names but I'll get there).

I'll support them either way

I feel like without the Orange Caramel members(especially Nana), After School will end up being like Jewelry because I don't think Kaeun and E-young are popular enough to keep current fans satisfied, and their fancafe is dropping in members slowly, they're at 17,000

 

It would be safe for them to just debut the Pledis Girls as a separate new group and promote them as well as they're doing with Seventeen

Since UEE, Raina and Nana's contracts are expiring this year, and if so Lizzy will come along with the rest of OC, I'd welcome the return of nine-member After School!

 

E-YOUNG - Leader, upgrade to main dancer, composer, sub-vocal

KAEUN - upgrade to lead dancer, lead vocal, lead rapper center, main vocal (she's supposedly one of the best Pledis trainees when it comes to vocals, but sadly it was not showcased much)

NAYEON - lead rapper, vocal, visual, lead dancer

PINK - vocal, visual, face of the new After School

SIYEON - vocal, composer, visual, maknae, face of the new After School

MINKYEONG - vocal, visual

GEUNGWON - vocal

EUNWOO - main vocal

YEBIN - main rapper
