PALEMOCHI 3,696 Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 I just started a job at wendys to make some money for my trip but i cant stand it mainly because i have to do cooking and its pure heat for 6 hours and when im in the heat for too long i get dizzy and it makes me feel sick. i was like maybe 21 more days but idk. Have break times where you can go somewhere cooler and rehydrate etc. if they don't then give them two weeks notice if it is a detriment to your health. Mine were so rude, arrogant, snobbish, & rachet....& it was my 1st day too! That job was so horrible to the point I had to quit the next day. I didn't even call in to say I was quitting until my manger called me 2months later saying you only work one day so far since you had this job~ do you want to quit? I said yeah & I quit. It's generally not a good idea to quit soon after getting hired.. it looks bad on your resume and will affect your chances of future employment because you'll come across as someone who has commitment issues.
