CCM's tactic is weird   Davichi will not be performing 'Missing You Today' on music show but focus more on promoting it on radio show. Maybe CCM did not expect the song to be that success

but there's rumor that Davichi will release their next album around the end of October

CCM said the same exact thing when "Turtle" came out... But after a week, they suddenly started promoting on music shows.  Maybe they're just being lazy.  :/

It's because the main track "Just the two of us" was kind of flop compare to Davichi's standard while Turtle was doing very well on chart that CCM had to change their plan and pushed Turtle to the main song to promote.

But i agree with you on "maybe they're just being lazy" lol. Having followed them for a while, I can see Davichi being lazy here. And it's a suprise that CCM has never pushed them too hard. Dont know why, maybe Davichi is KKS's favorite lol

on a side note, Missing You Today is showing the consistency on charts after showed the domination. It's surely a good sign

Davichi being lazy I kind of doubt that? This is just my opinion I think CCM never pushed Davichi too hard cause the entertainment management kind of don't know how to manage there artist the right way TBH? And I think we all know KKS favorite is T-ara (no fence) ...

when I say lazy, I mean enjoying a non-idol life, which is a good thing. seeing Minkyung's instagram updates   And Davichi is an established group so there's no need for them to do a promote cycle in every 3-4 months

T-ara is KKS's favorite? consider those scandals... it's more likely he's milking them

Have there been any news on why they have changed from LOEN to KT as their distributor?

huh? really? I havent heard any news but have seen their MV uploaded on KT channel. i'm curious too. but it's a surprise that their song still charting that high on Melon. isnt Melon usually  biased toward the songs they distribute?

Dang, the girls released a song and basically dropped off the earth.  They're still doing incredibly well on the charts.  They have yet to fall out of Melon's Top 10.

 

They performed at event on the 19th, but it didn't have much publicity;

real-time. MYT's only back to no1 in midnight to early morning. it's very stable in this period while other songs drop off very much (beside the song's stabilization, ballad is a factor, too)

actually, MYT has lost its domination (due to no promotion at all) but still showing good consistency. unfortunately, seems like GAON has fixed something again so it'll be hard for the song to chart high on year-end chart (I hope for a spot in top30)

Pop-ballad duo Davichi will release its EP “Letter†on Monday.

Before the release, the duo published its first comeback image for “Letter.†The image highlights the members’ feminine attraction in classical, dreamy ways.

The song is written by composer Chun Hae-sung, who wrote “Don’t Say Goodbye†for Davichi two years ago.

“Everybody has great expectations in working with composer Chun for the first time in two years,†said Davichi through its agency.

 

“Letter†was recorded in March in preparation for the duo’s second regular album, “Mystic Ballad.†But the song wasn’t released for nine months in the hope that it would blend well with ambience of autumn.

didn't they say the same thing when releasing "Missing You Today" (replace autumn with summer). How many song did they hold back to release as single? 

I thought it's just a PR statement at first but seems like it's not. Davichi hinted it in an interview in March (@2:25)

On 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', Davichi discussed how they've each been affected by the other member.
 
Kang Min Kyung said, "When comparing now to nine years ago during my training period and when I first met my group member Haeri, the thing that changed the most was my singing ability... As I could not sing well when I debuted, I was buried under Lee Haeri's singing ability so just worked diligently, but eventually I became better at singing and being in tune after going along with Haeri's singing."
 
Haeri revealed, "Ordinarily, I can't drink alcohol, but because of Kang Min Kyung, I started drinking six months ago and got to know the taste of alcohol a bit." Kang Min Kyung added, "I am happy that I can now drink beer with Lee Haeri after our performances."
