What song/group made you like KPOP?

I was on born 1999, and I first heard Korean Songs in their drama's such as Jewel In the Palace, but I became a fan of KPOP during Nobody, which was released on 2008, after that I became curious on the other groups and decided to check them out. Big Bang also made a deep impression, specially the WONDERBANG. I was deeply saddened when I heard that they (WG) will be on Hiatus and I thought that they might be disbanding soon. My bias, Sohee left the group and Sunmi rejoined the group that currently has 4 members.

I kinda hate SNSD back then, but I came to love them after I saw them cover Tell Me, GEE was such a catchy song and KARA's Mister and Step were so good!

WHAT ABOUT YOU GUYS? WHISH SONG MADE YOU A FAN OF KPOP?

My friend showed it to me when it first came out. They were the first K-pop group I ever stanned hard for.

Before then, I'd just listened to the big/popular songs ("Tell Me," "Gee," etc.) without really knowing or following the groups.

first time i heard kpop was forever with you - gd, top, bom

i wanna say it was 2009-2010? my friend showed it to me. and i loved it so i continued to listen to it but didnt really get into kpop..

but in 2012, my friend was a g.na fan and she showed me her 2hot mv when it came out and i loved it and got interested into kpop. this is prolly the reason i'm cube biased from beginning because my friend really into all them as well

I was a fan of JPOP, and I naturally jumped to KPOP.

in 2008, it was only 2AM- 2PM and OSTs that I listened from KPOP. I started checking other groups after MBLAQ debut.

From SM, I stanned SuJu, Shinnee (Juliet, Lucifer, Everybody eras) and EXO-M.

From YG, Big Bang

From JYP, 2AM and 2PM

From other companies, only Block B and MBLAQ.

NU'EST's Face started me off and I later found BAP's Warrior. That got me into the genre. Once I found some varieties those guys did, it made me want to find more which landed me on SNSD that led to them being my first bias group. Fortunately, that was about a week or so before IGAB got released so I became really eager on playing catch up with the girls' stuff back then.

Wonder Girls' Nobody was what helped me to discover/know what kpop is

if I remember correctly, Lies and Haru Haru by Big Bang are the two songs that got me genuinely interested ~

I discovered the two songs at the same time lmao

I had seen a few videos prior, but I got into Kpop through Hibiye Hibiyo by Moon Ji Eun, which sparked my interest, and 2NE1 in late 2010. Fire, Clap Your Hands, Can't Nobody, Try To Follow Me... Fire was such a jam for me. omg

When I started exploring, I ran into Beast, Secret, Big Bang, Co-Ed School, BoA, Son Dam Bi, etc. By 2011, I was obsessed.

SNSD's RDR first caught my attention in 2010. But it was not until 2012 that I got into Kpop after watching SNSD's "The Boys" performance on David Letterman. I latched on to the group, searched their songs, and discovered the group and a whole new world of pop music and idol culture that gave me so much happiness for 4 years now.

I got into K-Pop after Growl's release. I was a full-time gaga fan and another gaga fan I knew shared a link to growl like a day after its release. I watched it and loved the song + the choreography. Then I went on an EXO music video spree and got hooked to MAMA as well as What Is Love and then I searched up the members and learned all their names and then I started downloading their discography   I guess by october or so, I was a exo fan too. Then I watched Showtime and I loved IT and the rest is history
