I don't know, I really like sistar but no enough to going to the thread i'm a Hyorin fan, I was always one, i don't get why is so wrong to like her regardless the group, is not like im a hater

nah you have no reason to feel bad. That thread is a mess for so many reasons. And like I said before, being a Hyorin fan does not mean you are forced to be a star1. There are tons of her fans that are not into the group, and that does not make them haters.

it's true  that the tread isn't really paying attention to hyorin hell they don't even reconize the work she done to the group but that doesn't mean you should let them be, one thing  i learned from hyorin and from being her fan is that actions speak louder than words like for real her simple appearance on any show get so much attention compared to any other member just don't let their word get to you cause that is what they want but act like you don't care cause you stan THE BEST hyorin and THEY KNOW it that is why they attack us so they whould feel better

yeah, I'm not here for complaints. Watch there be ongoing complaints about line distribution for the nth time. Hyorin has contributed the most likewise her fans to the fandom. I'm just going to relax here and support the girl that got me interested in kpop.

There are too many things to get into...

 

 

Uji vs Hyolyn does not matter. I refuse to entertain those threads because people are opinionated. If you ask you is better, and you bring your opinion which can be debunked easily, than I have no time for that. Uji will hit that come up when she does. And watch if she becomes the most popular member of her group, people are going to say the same about her and her fans that they do about Hyorin and us. This is nothing brand new. You see it in damn near every group (especially girl groups for the oddest of reasons).

There are fans that are up their asses when it comes to Hyolyn's contributions to the group (BOTH THE PEOPLE THAT DETRACT AND HYPE IT UP). She has done a lot...because Starship saw an opportunity with her, and went with it. But she did not make this group. She helped...but Bora was just as popular as her. Soyu is now on this come up, and correct me if I am wrong but Stupid In Love and Some have done better than Hyolyn's music (sans OST). 

Never deny who has done what, because the facts will tell you differently. Hyolyn got pushed to the forefront because she got hot with the public, if it had been Soyu/Bora/Dasom we would be seeing something different. Yet at the end of the day, Sistar is a hot group because of all four girls. 

Also I stay out of most artist threads because they are tiring. The fewer of underaged stans, the better for me.

 

 

  Bora was never as popular tho, within the fandom yes, but not outside of it and with the general public. Hyorin hit it big on the charts before Sistar got their first big hit. Her Man of Honors OST garnered a lot of recognition,attention, and her I Choose to Love You OST hit an allkill and even beat out the likes of IU and T-ara on the charts upon it's release. I am not denying that they have all contributed in different ways but musically Hyorin garnered the attention especially through her efforts in IS2 and Dream High 2.  Sistar19's Ma Boy was the breakthrough song and we all know what followed afterwards with So Cool , Alone,Loving U,Gnaal and GITM. 

 

Also yeah 'Some' did but not SIL, Hyorin's latest OST has surpassed it I believe(I'm not entirely sure if we can even compare since Gaon changes like every year). It looks to become one of the biggest hits this year and the OST of the year.

i know you just spelling out your thought and you have every right to. i really don't understand the line distribution thing SHE IS THE MAIN VOCALIST what do they expect actually her and soyu get the same line it just hyorin take care of the high note in the end like what's wrong with that

yup, Soyou had the most lines in GITM if we don't count Hyo's adlibs and both her and Hyo took care of the chorus for Alone. People will stay ignorant. That is all.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Once again I did say Hyolyn did get focus because she got hot, and Starship did what they thought was going to get them money and gave her a push. I thought Bora was popular (not like crazy popular, but she was liked enough?), maybe that was just to get fandom support, I don't know. 

I am just not about certain things (I can't put them into words and it would sound like I am taking shots and I am not), because once again this could have been any of them. Dasom could have done a Suzy, and Dasom fans would be having this same problem. 

Just give credit where credit is due.Hyolyn did a lot. And no one should think more or less of it. That is my thing. 

And I was focusing more so on their idol based music, Stupid In Love did well enough I had thought, and Some was basically slaughtering the competition for a minute. One Way Love and Lonely did reasonably well *but I am also not taking into account other songs they did so mess at me). 

 

 

I never knew their line distribution was a problem...I mean I listened to their albums, and Soyu is just as active on the songs, and Bora usually gets a full verse. They can be skimpy on Dasom, but eh, that's not the group's fault.

haha I didn't think you were , I agree with your points, it's just that the star1 fandom loves to downplay Hyorin every chance they get. Hyorin didn't do everything but downplaying her efforts is just annoying. Especially since it's been 4 years since they debuted and the same cycle is happening.  I second what you said.

 

sorry to answer the second quote since it wasn't for me. But there were always problems regarding line distributions. Hyorin did have most lines up until Alone, then her and Soyou got almost equal line distributions, people complained before that change happened and still do to this day despite there being a much more "fair" line distribution now. Same old forever lol

Get a grip if you think everyone is out to get you just because you're a Hyottie. I'm a Hyottie too but sometimes my Hyolyn posts get ignored because the thread just moves so fast or people simply don't take the time to backtrack.

 

Not everyone in that thread is rude or doesn't like you. Stop generalizing other STAR1s in that thread just because you don't get along with some.

I never saw anyone say ALL star1's, the issues with that thread go a long way back and the "ignoring of posts" is not even the problem.  Just because you can't see or grasp why people are annoyed doesn't make the whole issue any less legit. And why are you speaking for everyone? Kindly accept the fact that people have reasons to be bothered by that thread. Actually I have a pretty good understanding why you and other Hyotties are annoyed considering I follow you and others on twitter and you have explained to me why you dislike certain people there. Did I ever say that the situation there was 'any less legit'? No, I simply said that not all users there are rude or hate Hyolyn. You even said yourself "The Star1 fandom loves to downplay Hyorin every chance they get." If that's not generalizing, I don't know what is.

the problem go way back before OH became OH and my issue does not represent everyones. Thank you very much.

But anyway, sure, maybe most STAR1s that you've come across downplay Hyo, but there are others that love her just as much but don't express it.

So in August Hyolyn has two concerts lined up?

 

[2014.08.11Hyo will be performing at Korea Music Festival (which also doubles as Show Champion recording)

[2014.08.16] Hyolyn will be performing at a concert with Mad Clown and JungGigo at Lotte

 

Is this correct or has there been more added to her schedule?

As far as I know, those are the only two concerts. The 10 concerts in China for YHCFTS is not confirmed yet and the first broadcast will be on August 2nd for Hidden Singer 3. Not sure when Hyo's episode will be broadcast.

i want to ask you guys here...do any of you here who want to see hyolyn to do acting again???people said hyolyn was stiff in DH 2,but to think of who will be good in their first try when doing something for the first time.I seriously want to see hyolyn in MUSICAL PERFORMANCE THO.Musical need basic acting too right.

First of all ... allow me to THANK YOU MILLION TIMES for this wonderful amazing thread for the most unique beautiful girl in Korea

{HyoLyn} ... I came to find this unique thread by luck .... Literally it blew my mind away   .... I was & is & will always be HYOLYN - Starved - News ..... was googling all over the web, youtube, dailymotion, facebook ... etc for all her past and present stuff .... and then I was blessed to Find U ..... & that's why from the deepest core of my heart .... massive ways of thanks to the admin. & all the beautiful members of this thread .... U just made my day 

 

To be honest, I am knew to Kpop, became interested in it from the beginning of this year as I was more into K dramas .... started with Drama's OST first & then one day I found (SISTAR) .. but that magical smile, heart-melting voice attracted me like MAGNET   .... & came to know our lovely girl ......

Since people are calling for equal line distribution, then can we have Hyorin take over the rap and be the main dancer with this cb? It's one thing to wish that your fave got more lines but don't be calling for equal line distribution when not everyone in the group can handle that. Not everyone in the group is a main or lead vocalist. Wish for them to excel in their given roles instead and get more opportunities to shine there. No disrespect.

Maybe people are beginning to fear more Hyorin solo activity and the de-emphasis of Sistar. Starship seems pretty hungry for growth right now and Hyorin is their best assest, so maybe it is a possibility?

 

Either way, you can tell thy aren't happy to just stay where they are as a company. Some kind of changes are coming.

ok guys, so I noticed I haven't shared all the info I got from the journalist that was in Saipan during Sistar's shooting there. Basically he gave me all of this info:

 

"The comeback is highly anticipated since it took two weeks. All I can say according to their Producer, Mr. Lee, is that the song will show in Ingayo soon this fall. It is kind of similar to their previous title tracks from what I heard, but what they did is chose exact tourist spots on the island, I don't understand Korean but it sounds more of an island, rnb, with a little bit of hip hop on it.

 

I only met them and listened to what they finished, and I can't recognize whose voice is whose, and their choreography is truly difficult since it took three weeks, first week preparation, second to third was the music video shoot and it took months to perfect the MV.

 

The whole album is on September, the new MV debut is this July
