Girl Group Sistar Training Wear One Month Sales $3 Million USD

 

 

Small Korean Clothing Business "A" decided to sell their merchandise by having popular Sistar members Hyolyn and Soyou model their training wear brand BCUZ, which was launched in September. In one month, the company made $3 Million USD in sales. Through home shopping in South Korea, China and East Asia, BCUZ clothing exploded with sales. Internationally, the training clothing brand became popular so unexpectedly, that they were likely nicknamed "Sistar Wrap Jean". Company "A" has finished signing an export contract with 7 different countries for next year and expects to earn $40 Million USD.

i already dont like when hyo sang this song at starship x concert with junggigo cuz they dont blend together...

now see...such a mess..the high note...why must sing this song at golden disk award??didnt kwill attend the concert??why dont let them sing together??

I agree it was very messy from the beginning. Like Hyolyn has some less than stellar performances sometimes but this might be the worst I've seen, Junggigo was also weirdly bad (I say weirdly because he was fine when singing Some). Not only that but the audio and backtracking seemed off as well. There was a nice harmony at 4:04 that I liked but I feel so bad for Hyolyn, she wrote on their fancafe that fans should look forward to GDAs but the whole night was not that great.

How do you guys even know that most of Hyorin's haters are Star1s? did i miss something lol..

 

The other 3 individual fandom are pretty chill, from what i've seen, and a lot of them even take pride in Sistar because of Hyorin. The bad apples usually come from Hyorin's fans.

If I can throw in my own opinion,

I think a lot of Hyolyn fans (Hyotties -- I don't want to say Hyolyn biased because there are a lot of Hyo biased fans who are also Star1 and really support the group/engage in star1 activities) are kind of in the cool down stage of holding a grudge against the star1 fandom.

 

Many of the Hyotties in this thread, really love the other members but coming together as a group in the fandom to support the girls was a problem. As PYT said there were some people who refused to help do the "fandom stuff" during Hyolyn's solo debut, I remember one night when Hyolyn was up for an award at a music show, me and a bunch of other Hyotties were tweeting and retweeting for the entire night. When Hyolyn lost we were all sad but what made it worse was the  fan of a different Sistar member who was basically tracking our Hyolyn tag and making fun of us because we couldn't trend for Hyolyn and then when she lost another fan  (of a different Sistar member) said something like, "this is why she was put in the group." It doesn't seem like a big deal and I agree but I think for some Hyotties these small things have been adding up for years. 

 

I decided to become a Sistar fan during GNAAL (after coming across Sistar's stuff for a year--at the time I was a hardcore IU and 2pm stan) I came to be really interested in them because of Hyolyn on Immortal Song. When I began to search for Sistar fansites, I found a lot of people who had a lot of virtriol against Hyolyn for seemingly no reason. I didn't understand how people could think that Hyo was so ugly and horrible and mean because she sang a lot. In my opinion I think that Soyou/Dasom/Bora fans have legitimate reasons to be upset with Starship but before 2014 most of that anger was misdirected at Hyolyn.

 

I think, however, that we are all calming down now but at the same time those little things (like how a fan of a different Sistar member is all over NB trying to convince non/casual Sistar fans that Hyolyn bullies the other members) are hard to let go of. Honestly, I've had to relearn that not all fans are bad and most times it's just a handful who are very vocal about their dislike...sometimes I just think to myself, "what did Hyolyn do to deserve this?" I know it's a dumb question because pretty much every celebrity gets the same or similar treatment but I never knew that so much negativity could originate from within a celebrity's own fandom. At the same time, as a Hyottie, I try to appreciate the fans who support Hyo even though she may not be their favorite member and I try to do my best to support the other members of Sistar the same. 

 

*whew* looong response! sorry, I'm a bit long-winded (and fyi, these are all things that I've found within the international fandom)
