"Ugh. I'm arguing with some douche on youtube about Hyorin Vs. Yuji. Same old story, Hyorin is this and that, queen of queens and nobody can be on her level. I'm arguing that Yuji is just as good or possibly better. Gosh, never ending debate, some people just don't have a clue. I mean, they just don't know how talented Yuji is and aren't open to accepting that there is another equally talented idol out there to rival her. I can't at people claiming Hyorin fans saying Hyorin is a better vocalist are being biased. Hyorin is not considered a better vocalist just cause she's more popular. She is TECHNICALLY the stronger vocalist. No one cares if Yuji is a nugu. And who the hell said no one can be on Hyorin's level?. Mind you this is the same 9M fan who bashed Hyorin in the Sistar thread last year. Some people I swear. Can't praise their fave without bringing down Hyorin's superior skills. I guess people will do anything nowadays to get their faves some attention. Build a bridge and cross it.

many people fell short to tell apart between vocal skils and 'special' voice like what hyorin has so just let them think whatever they want..... i saw a preformance of hers the other day on immotal song she is good but she still has a lot to learn so hyolyn is a stronger vocalist compared to her  not saying that hyolyn  is flawless she still needs to work on ther falsetto and head voice actually her falssetto has gotten better but still needs to polish it

I try not to care tbh, they can think she's a lesser vocalist, but my problem with them is their reasoning. That we claim Hyorin is better solely for the reason that she's more popular. Someone from the vocal thread even came to correct them on one thread and they atacked her for being a biased. (Hyorin wasn't even her bias  But whatever)

 

what Hyorin needs to work mostly on is getting that head voice in check. She started to use it more this year so I am hopeful we'll see ongoing improvements.

She will seriously slay if she improves that i also quiet bothered with the way she breaths i remember one day sending a message to starship facebook page saying they better work on her breathing or i'll come after her coach and kick his ass( well not those words but you get the idea :p)

I've discussed this with a friend who knows about vocal pedagogy. He said her breathing has improved and is not affecting the quality of her notes..Idk if you've noticed but her breathing is not that audible anymore and she inhales less frequently between her singing lines. The color is everything, but now that she has bangs, they shouldn't try to for middle parts because...yeah. I hope this hair stays and we get to see her in action. 

It looks very much blonde haha, initially I wasn't for a blonde Hyo but the color actually suits her. But I wish they added more volume to it, it looks a bit...flat?. Also, I'm not sure but it looks like she's not tan either. I would love side bangs on her.

haha no worries. Yes true, I'm expecting her to come back with a much rested voice. Anticipating the comeback :D

 

Yeah, I like the color, but the way it is styled right here is meh. Hyorin has been killing the middle part recently, but that is because her bangs were long enough to no long be a hindrance. About the tan, I'm hoping it is just the lighting, because Bora also looks pale...I hope nothing has got them all trying to be the same shade of white.

exactly, Starship's stylist is such an anti, always messes up Hyorin's hairstyles just before a comeback post(GITM and her solo debut). Hyorin said in an interview last year "tanning will continue" lol I loved her Loving U tan but sometimes she tends to go overboard with it(eg. GITM showcase). I'm pretty sure she uses tanning cream, I don't want to see her all covered up in bb cream.Iif she continues to tan(which I'm sure she wil) I hope she does it less frequently for health reasons since tanning can be quite dangerous. Sistar members with the same shade  of white would be such a mess lmao

I know I'm late but OMGAAAHHHHhH hyolin's hair is so flawless!! She looks amazing with that style and color!! I love blondish hyolin!!

I'm still unsure if I like it or not. I expect some extensions and a bit more volume. Btw her name is spelt as Hyolyn, she herself spells it this way. International fans use Hyorin as it's pronounced that way. The correct one is Hyolyn tho

I like the blond, but...that style she does with her brown hair isn't working well with the blond. Extensions and such for dramatics (or do the curly thing they had her hair in during most of OWL and January.

Also it doesn't look like it, but I wish they would have went for a darker color of blond. This doesn't look like the standard yellow, or platinum, but for someone with a darker complexion maybe it would have been better to play with different shades.

 

Mariah is maybe lighter than bronzed Hyolyn (I think they are around the same shade when she is not), but this could have been a cute hair color. This isn't completely blonde but it is something I kind of want. Especially length and style wise.

 

her new hairstyle and color is starting to grow on me, her makeup is on point too. I see your point with the tan and color, it just doesn't go well together. The Mariah color would have looked perfect on her I'm sure. Sistar's comeback is weeks(maybe even 1 week away if they decide to drop the first teaser tomorrow) so hopefully they make her hair look better. It does look better on fancams than on pix imo haha.

Haha I just went looking for this thread after I saw your post. I didn't know it existed. Haha "They think Hyorin is perfection incarnate" that is pretty much how I feel. I do also like SISTAR as a group though.

Many Hyorin fans can't stand him and if you are interested in knowing why I can pm you Basically, I need some users on that thread to accept the fact that people are free to like Sistar or not. Just a few weeks ago some other users complained about Hyorin fans saying how they bash the other members and act like Hyorin is everything. A few bad apples don't represent an entire fandom, Hyorin fans contribute the most to the fandom. @givemesistar, cheolin from youtube who post all Sistar related videos, Heseoboppa, Star1USA, sistarfied(don't exist anymore), stellasistar from tumblr, @allaboutsistar are all hyotties. 

 

 

Why you can't stand some users?

The only time that I was a litle upset was when someone said that hyo's fans only worry about hyorin and don't care about sistar.
