after searching a bit on Strong Heart's YT, I found the clip where Hyolyn performs Love on Top! Thanks guys for the tip!

 

also, I've been searching for some older Hyolyn variety shows out of boredom and I'm surprised that I actually found some good stuff! Sistar-rology has the great master list of English subbed varieties so I thought I'd share.

 

Plus KBSWorld doesn't have Hyolyn's episode of Mamma Mia uploaded on their Youtube channel but I found it on vimeo!

 

I don't know if you guys have seen these videos already but it's something I'm sharing to help the lack of Hyolyn go quicker!

so, today I was looking at my physical copy of love&hate and there were two things I noticed that I didn't before. One, that there wasn't a dedication page and two that Hyolyn was credited for 'chorus' in Lonely and Stalker. Does that mean that Hyolyn wrote the lyrics in the chorus of those two songs?

Oh I didn't notice that either. I believe it does, I've heard she was credited for the chorus of Sistar's past releases too like 'So Cool', 'Push Push' and 'How Dare You'

 

I wish there was a dedication page

oh that's so cool. I hope she's writing for SISTAR's upcoming album! And I totally wish there was a dedication page. My super delusional wish is that instead of 50 pages of photoshoot she'd do a dedication page and a bunch of behind the scenes pictures kind of like a day in the life thing.

the suggestions for Hyolyn's badge start on May 15th, but we can always prepare some of our favorite photos!

Here's the rules:

→ Picture rules
No fantaken pictures, official pictures only
No selcas (only allowed for OTP badges)
Picture should be of good quality. No LQ pics.
Screencaps from MV's, CF's etc are allowed. None from fantaken videos.
Artist's face must be clearly visible
No overly edited picture

I agree that there are some fantaken photos that are better and I would've loved to suggest those as well but according to the rules of the OP, we aren't allowed to use fantaken pics. 

 

 

I would be on board with a badge from her esquire shoot, I mostly just made my suggestions because I wanted to see what they would look like. I think the suggestions thread is still open if anyone has some pictures they still wanted to submit~ And I think during the voting period, there will be an option to keep the current badge.

also the final round of voting for Hyolyn's new OneHallyu badge has begun! A poll has opened up in SISTAR's award voting thread with the top 5 choices from the original badge suggestions. (I'd like to link you guys to it, but OH is a MESS right now edit: here's the link to her top 5 badges!) I'm not sure when the voting ends, but make sure you guys get your votes in! I like all of the choices but I really want to make sure that the Hyolyn/Hyorin-stans (the ones who will actually display Hyo's badge) get a vote in the change! There's also an option to keep the badge that we've already got if the new suggestions aren't your style!

oh really? I tried to google more information about it but "South Korean Music Festival" didn't get me anywhere..

edit: this is good though, in my biased opinion Starship is kind of lacking on Hyolyn's variety appearances but they do give her really nice places to perform (where she can sing to new and bigger audiences~)

On the May 18 episode of SBS’ “1000 Song Challenge,†Hyorin became the replacement for Jang Yoon Jung, who stepped down as MC from the show due to her pregnancy, as a special MC.

 

Hyorin made a glamorous entrance and stated, “Although I’ve appeared as a guest on he show numerous times, it is my first time hosting so I am nervous. I will trust Lee Hwi Jae to lead.â€

 

To this, Lee Hwi Jae replied, “You can MC comfortably. All you need to do is be here.†He then jokingly added to Jang Yoon Jung, “Mrs. Jung, I will text you later,†causing laughter.

Currently modeling for beverage ‘Sun’s Mate Tea,’ Hyolyn attended a photoshoot with fashion magazine Sure with the concept of ‘mate dance.’

 

Showing off her flawless and tanned body, Hyolyn pulled off various dance costumes, while she danced passionately in front of the camera. 

 

An affiliate of ‘Sun’s Mate Tea’ said, “We decided to hold this ‘mate dance photoshoot’ in order for Hyolyn to share tips on her perfectly fit body. She danced to the ‘mate dance’ that she choreographed herself and the staff at the site danced along, almost turning the filming site into a party scene.â€
