^yeah I think you're right, I think Disney wanted to get as much money from Idina's version first. I just hope that now that Hyolyn's version is coming out all the people who wanted it for the past month actually, you know, buy it. I hope Disney/Starship put it on iTunes because I cannot navigate MelON for the life of me, although I'm probably going to have to learn because you know antis will flock to downvote the song once it comes out~

also I try to be more than reasonable in assuming that NB wouldn't waste her time trolling for anti-Hyo/anti-SISTAR comments on Naver, but it does seem every time there's an article about Korea's Beyonce (articles that say the same thing every time) or Dasom's acting (1) the top comments are mostly bad (2) NB is soooo quick to translate and post. I've also noticed that the articles where the knetz comments are anti-SISTAR get lots of comments from int'l fans. This is most like delusional but I think articles/threads where SISTAR is the punching bag gets LOTS of attention from knetz and inetz. Part of me thinks that NB is capitalizing on that to make more money from their website. But, I can't possibly know that for sure, hence the spoiler

Right now Hyolyn is at #3 and #6 with Hello/Goodbye and Let it Go on Melon. Let it Go is doing so much better than people expected it to with its late release. I guess lots of people in Korea were holding out for Hyolyn's version! I'm still trying to figure out how I can purchase her version of Let it Go as well...

Hyolyn revealed that she could not understand other women based on her trip to Hong Kong with SISTAR for Y-STAR's 'Midnight In Hong Kong.’

 

In Hong Kong, Soyou and Bora would continuously stop while walking to take pictures whenever they came upon a pretty or interesting spot.  Hyolyn would look back and say to them, “Why aren’t you coming?"  However, Soyou and Bora would ignore her and take a picture in front of a pretty alleyway, in front of a mural, and even at an open cafe.

 

Unable to bear the site any longer, Hyolyn said, “Women…"  Then, she went into detail about female behavior that she could just not understand.  She said, "When at a restaurant, the first thing girls do is take a picture.  You’re hungry.  You should eat first. If you’re not even eating, why would you take someone else’s table at the restaurant to take pictures?â€

 

Even while looking for the restaurant, Bora and Soyou kept taking pictures so Hyolyn said in conclusion, “This would be so tiring for men.  If I were born as a guy, I would probably have been really popular.â€

I can understand what Hyolyn is saying somewhat because I'm also someone who doesn't like stopping during trips to take pictures in front of random places but, at the same time, didn't Starship say that this is the first time SISTAR got a real vacation together? I think on special occasions, taking pictures is okay and if the food is something you'll only eat once in a lifetime or something you labored over to make taking pictures of it is okay too.

^ I relate with Hyolyn on that!! I hate taking pix on trips lol especially when eating at a restaurant lol .I know it's good to take pictures for memory and all but I really find it boring & tiring. Me & Hyo would get along perfectly on a trip, no doubt.

I've been wondering the same thing. Bora will be busy with her Drama, Dasom is still busy until May and Soyou with her collab. Maybe we can expect a Hyolyn solo project? Not necessarily a solo track but maybe a special release or something? A duet with labelmate K.Will? or her taking part in a musical since lots of musical directors are eager to work with her? lol just speculating

 

 

 

I would love a duet with K.will! I also would love for Hyolyn to be a permanent member of some kind of variety show. I know she's been on IS2 but I want something where we get to see her outside of performing. I want people to see her personality from all angles something like season 2 invincible youth or that animal variety

Hyo did really well with Hello/Goodbye! It was a super awesome song. Also her version of Let it Go is on the charts as well. I think I said this before but even though everyone and their mother covered LIG people still really loved and wanted Hyo's version. I remember it debuting at #10 on melon and inching up and down on those charts for a while. I'm super proud of her for getting that opportunity and slaying it. I'll probably never see LIG on stage and solo but I guess I can't complain.

 

and speaking of LIG, I hate getting my hopes up, but I really hope that Hyolyn's stylists pull something like this out for her.

Why don't you like Ailee?  She's one of Hyolyn's closest friends.  So you only like Hyolyn, not her friends or the other members of Sistar?

 

I honestly don't think this conversation is going to be productive nor is it necessary. Not trying to step on any toes but I feel like it should be dropped.

That would be great! Although, it would be lovely to see her on IS2, I want as much vocal rest as possible for her.  It's sad that some people base their impression of her on that silly fanmeeting incident last year. More people need to see what an awesome personality she has.

 

oh yeah, I wonder what happened with the Elsa cosplay, maybe they were never planning on it at all~ and guys Hyolyn looked so beautiful and amazing at music core. During Let it Go she was gorgeous, during Hush she was sultry and during Loving U she was so pretty and cute! I can't wait for gifs, lol

I think people are trying to be funny (and failing miserably) Pol Pot was a communist revolutionary who killed people. Paul Potts is just a singer who got popular on Britain's Got Talent and the Korean variety Qualifications of Men. Although their names are similar, there's no relation between the two whatsoever.

It's such a bad tattoo, she really should have never gotten it.

IDK, if it makes her feel more comfortable in her skin/with her scar I think it's fine

It would have been easier to just cover her scar with makeup instead of pretty much ruining her stomach with a large, obnoxious tattoo.

maybe it was a permanent scar/permanent cover-up situation I don't know her motivations for it. but really, if she doesn't regret it I don't really care (and honestly even if she does end up regretting it, it doesn't offend/irritate me so I can't truly see eye to eye with where you're coming from).
