For those who don't know me I'm a huge fan of Sistar, Sistar19, Hyorin and my bias is Soyu.

I don't really post a lot in threads aside from the Block B and the 2NE1 thread so yeah. 

Thanks for sharing!!  & nice to meet you! I'm happy that you're a fan of Sistar. I don't post much either, but mostly active on this thread.  My ultimate bias is Hyo  with Soyou beng my second fave in Sistar

I thnk it has a lot to do with all the allegations some Blackjacks have thrown at Sistar for stuff like digital manipulations.. I won't generalize and say this is the case for all Blackjacks cause that's not true. You'll have people like that in every fandom unfortunately.

So cute,  my God, sadly she doesn't seem that happy anymore, Idk and I'm not talking about the latest hateful comments  I'm talking about this whole year, since Sistar19 promotions.-

 

Oh my aching heart  

I know what you mean, I feel the same way, miss the old Hyolyn who was full of energy! It seems her confidence has been hit badly this year and my heart breaks for her. I hope she grows stronger & back to her 4D self  . I know fans have tried sending out encouraging tweets to her as well as messages for her solo debut, but there's not much else we can do but hope that she has good people around her that wants what's best for her.

 

 

Tbh , what I worry about the most is that this whole situation will trigger her social anxiety disorder :( I know she suffered from it in the past and couldn't get out of her room for 2 whole months due to fear of people. Oh I hope she'll be fine, I really do and that bad karma hits all of those that made their life mission to ruin this beautiful person.

Kim Hyo Jung better known by her stage name Hyolyn, or often written Hyorin, is a South Korean idol-singer, dancer, and actress. She is the leader and main vocalist of SISTAR and their sub-unit SISTAR19 (See SISTAR Thread). Hyolyn has gained a large following for having some of the strongest vocals in the Korean pop music industry.

 

Biography

 

 

Kim Hyo Jung was born on January 11, 1991, in Incheon, South Korea. In March 2011, Hyolyn was a guest on Strong Heart where she revealed that she was born prematurely and weighed in at 4.2 kg (about 9 lbs) at birth. During her mother's pregnancy, water had filled Hyolyn's stomach, which led her to become a premature birth. Bile was unable to be passed through her intestines, which eventually damaged her liver, causing a biliary atresia. Although the required surgery had low chances of sustaining life, Hyolyn was able to survive the 10-hour long surgery.

 

A year later, however, she was diagnosed with intussusception (a medical condition where parts of the intestine folds over into another section of the intestine) and received surgery for enterectomy.

 

Hyolyn auditioned for JYPE two times, and was finally accepted at the second try placing 1st place at the audition. She was set to debut in a project group with Secret's Jieun and EXID's Yuji but plans fell. Hyolyn then left JYPE and joined Starship Entertainment, auditioning with a cover of Christina Aguilera's Hurt.

 

In June 2010, Hyolyn made her debut as a member of Sistar on KBS Music Bank with their debut single, Push Push.

 

In early 2011, Hyolyn and group member Bora formed as a sub-group Sistar19 with the single "Ma Boy". Hyolyn had the chance to participate in the newly formed variety show "Immortal Song 2" on June. She won the first episode and received immediate attention and public love for her voice. Her new-found popularity helped spread SISTAR's name to the public. Due to her great vocal ability and stage presence on the show and other variety programs, she has been labeled as the Korean Beyoncé by some singers within the country.She participated in the show from June until September.

 

On November 26th, 2013 Hyolyn made her debut as a solo artist with the double title songs Lonely and One Way Love.

Oh, Hyorin mi love.    You are undoubtedly the Korean counterpart of Beyonce. I've said it before and I'm repeating it now. 

Hey  Beyonce is an outstanding performer & no one in Kpop comes close to her! I would rather Hyolyn be known as Hyolyn, but I will say that she reminds me of Beyonce the most compared to other kpop female singer since she's an all around performer & the way she demands the stage   Hope you enjoy your stay here!

Also to remind everyone, Hyolyn spells her name as Hyolyn so let's try to do the same.  I know it's difficult since everyone is so used to Hyorin, but it will make everything easier if everyone used Hyolyn, since the 3 different spellings Hyolyn, Hyorin & Hyolin confuse everyone into thinking it's 3 different people.

^ just watched this special, and it's really funny despite the fact that there wasn't much Hyolyn. Mostly reaction shots but there was some great moments between her and DJ DOC. I really agreed when they said Hyo and SISTAR had great personalities. Now, that I've watched the episode, I'm wondering how netizens even came up with another attack about ~attitude problems. It completely and unequivocally came across as best friends playing around.

 

Even though being brought onto an episode called the kings of performance is a huge honor, I kind of wish that Hyolyn would go on shows where the other guest aren't her sunbaes. I feel like that it'd be less pressure to go on shows where the other guests are Mblaq and After School rather than Yoon DoHyun and Insooni. Technically the guests aren't the problem but I feel like netizens are programmed to find the three seconds (in between 25 minutes of her laughing her head off) where Hyolyn isn't smiling. And I also know that I shouldn't care about what netizens write but I'm finding more and more that international fans are believing those comments that are posted on netizenbuzz and it's getting frustrating.

 

Anyways, her red bean dish looked super good and I even though it was a small moment, I thought it was cute how Lena kind of finished Hyo's sentences for her.

 

 

 

 

 

I know, it's really ridiculous that they made a big deal out of something that was nothing. Same case with her "fanmeet controversy". As Sistar has been growing in popularity so are the antis. It was great witnessing how close she is with DJ DOC and they seem to love her. It is really frustrating when people believe stuff that lack proof and I guess it's just human nature to judge without looking into facts. I also wish she appeared more with idols and agree on how that would lessen the pressure put on her. Hopefully she appears on more variety shows, I want to see her on Beatles Code next. Her last Running Man appearance  hardly had much Hyo as you previously mentioned and the show had so many idol groups as guests . Also, she wasn't her usual bubbly self which could be explained by her busy schedule and album preparations. I would love to see her appear there again though.

 

I liked her small interactions with Lena Park. It was cute

I know, ridiculous, first of all, that article wasn't even trending high and disappeared really faster, that was a "reader request" witch means that an international hater wanted that art. on NB,is so funny like a lot of I-kpop fans really think that those comments reflect the general opinion of Korea when that's totally false even in this forum,you can see user make tons of topics for every single NB note, they need to realise that those opinions are mostly from people that hate celebrities like in every online community in every country, but whatever if they want to live in ignorance WTH

^ I wouldn't say all of them are like that. There are good people in that thread, the ones I'm having issues with are 2-3 people there who are regular posters. However, my main problem with the thread is that the majority of people there think that the people who drop by to post randomly are fans of Sistar & Hyo when they actually constantly downplay  Sistar's & Hyo's success as well as insult them on other threads here . I don't see how you can call people like that avid fans & defend them.
