Hyo tried something new at 1:10 instead of squating move  and also 2:15. 

This is Shake It last week promotion so I'm hoping for some solo news soon 

I'm really hoping against all hope that Hyolyn becomes a judge for this upcoming season of Unpretty Rapstar. Yeah, she's not a rapper but Hyo has shown that's she's pretty knowledgeable about hip-hop and rap. Her and hip-hop have a pretty good relationship (the viral video of her performing with MadC, Sistar's most recent Sketchbook appearance, and the many times Hyo had a rap break in Sistar songs).

 

Plus with her experience as a lyricist and budding career as a composer, she could totally relate to the contestants who have to write their own verses. Plus, people have been saying that UR needs some females to judge it and we know that Hyolyn will judge them according to their talent and determination instead of just looks.

 

And to top it all off, UR would be the perfect place for Hyolyn to begin to seriously push her solo career. Not only will she be mingling with artists who make the same genre of music that she wants to make, but she'll also be in front of an audience who listens to the type of music she wants to make. Plus don't the judges collab with the top contestants? All around it would be an incredibly smart way for her to start appealing to an audience as a solo artist.

 

I also thought that she'd be good as the host of I am a singer. I think the audience for that show was pretty impressed with her last season and she'd be like a kind of mascot for what hard work can accomplish.

I was wondering if anyone tried writing Hyolyn a message on HyolynDay? And if they know if she reads them in her spare time?

What's HyolynDay? Is it her fansite or something?

I don't know to be honest, some fantaker was saying that you can write cheering messages to Hyolyn on it and someone else said that that wasn't true and Hyolyn doesn't have an official fancafe. I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about it. I guess it doesn't really matter.

 

btw, I see Gfriend's teaser in your sig, do you know of any varieties with them? After someone on twitter showed me Yuju's singing, I kinda wanna find out more about the group~

That would be cool if the fancafe does really exist and Hyorin reads fans' messages. But yeah, I've never heard about it before so I guess it's either not true or that fancafe has ceased functioning.

They have one variety show called "Please take care of the puppies" but sadly there's no subs yet. However, you can watch Yerin appearance on Running Man ep237 which was fully translated (she's the visual and also the stan attractor ) In my opinion, they are the prime example of a cute concept done right and I fell in love with them quickly even though I rarely stan cute girlgroups. Their songs are super catchy, upbeat and full of energy, accompanied by great choreography. Unlike most girlgroups nowadays, they always bring their A-game when it comes to choreo - highly energetic and powerful moves emphasized by sharp, precise and incredibly in-sync group dancing. Their performances always bring a smile to my face. 

 

You're also impressed by Yuju's singing? Me too. I assume we Hyotties do have the tendency to pick the same faves because I've encountered a lot of Hyorin fans having Yuju as another bias haha. In some ways, Yuju reminds me of Hyorin a lot. Both have incredible vocal talent which make them stand out brightly among the new debutees. Both gradually gain public recognition for their talent and contribute greatly to the exposure of their groups. Gfriend and Sistar both come from very small, unknown companies and they are the first girlgroups of their respective companies. Maybe those similarities with Sistar, including getting a lot of craps from fans of big agencies, make me root for them so hard.

lol yeah, I saw Yuju's training video and I was like yes!! crystal clear, powerful singing!! It's impressive as heck.

 

I actually watched that RM episode, Yerin was the one who kicked herself in the face right? I can see why she'd be a stan attractor, she worked so hard on that show. 

The thing that I really like about Gfriend is their choreography. They really manage to have moves, that look simple and are catchy but at the same time are pretty technical. And they pull it off really well, they're all in sync with each other and they never (at least the performances I've seen) give off the look that they're tired or whatever. Their on stage charisma is great!

Iam excited for hyo concert

are you planning on going? I'm planning on going to the NY one, at first I wasn't sure because of the potential setlist. But I figure, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to easily see Hyolyn live and for a reasonable price. Plus the people putting this together are a legit agency and not scam artists like most concert promoters who bring kpop idols to the U.S. I just pray that she shows a little love to Love&Hate, there's no need to perform Sistar songs, she has soo many good ones on her own, lol

AOA’s Choa Shares How Hyorin’s Vocal Abilities Once Left Her In Shock

 

 

AOA’s Choa recently showered SISTAR’s Hyorin with praise for her vocal abilities.

 

On January 26, AOA was a guest on MBC FM4U’s “Tei’s Dreaming Radio,†where the members talked about their comeback track “Excuse Me†and more.

 

During the broadcast, AOA’s Choa was asked if she was considered to be in the top 3 vocalists of K-pop girl groups. In response, she jokingly commented, “I can’t even count my age with one hand, but it’s the same thing [in terms of my vocal abilities].â€

 

When asked to name a vocalist who she liked, Choa picked SISTAR’s Hyorin. She then talked about an experience she had with the SISTAR member, saying, “[before debut] I saw Hyorin sing at an open audition. I thought one can achieve anything if they gave it their all, but Hyorin’s talent was too remarkable. It was shocking. Whenever I see her, I still think she sings so well. She might be younger than me, but I’m always learning from her.â€

 

Meanwhile, AOA is currently promoting with their first studio album, which contains their double title tracks “Excuse Me†and “Bing Bing.â€
