Yeah she still is a great performer so her at her worst is still good to watch. Ooh she had a tight schedule that day, and the Open Concert was one where she did I Will Always Love You, which is one of her best vocal performances to date (and her performance on IS2 was still good all things considered) so it was a good day for her imo.

 

Look at her being a triple threat. Does anyone know what the song this is? Also no disrespect but no to that outfit.

this is slightly off-topic but do you guys ever feel self-conscious before posting Hyo-related news and performances outside of this thread? one of my "hyotstar1" resolutions this year was to spread news and info about hyolyn as much as I can so that by the end of this year people could at least see her charms/that she's a hard worker etc. However, whenever I go to make an appreciation thread or a post in other forums (I post SISTAR stuff on omonatheydidnt), I always want to hold back just to make sure that there's nothing that people can use as a way to hate on her. for example I really wanted to make a post on this other forum about her at the frozen premier but I'm hesitant because I don't want people to just be like HOLY NO PANTS (w/ an undercurrent of ~omfg she's such a sl*t/i'm a troll) I really want to ~help spread the hyolyn love to amass a bigger fandom, but I really need to stop giving a f*ck about what haters say /endrant

 

There is ALWAYS be some haters. We love Hyolyn, then, we'll have to face that, no matter what. We'll always face cheap hate or not. It's K-pop, it's like that. We should always try to promote her no matter what. WE KNOW what she is capable of, so don't be ashame to post any video or comment. If we want Hyolyn or Sistar to grow, we'll have to face the sad consequences of posting a good comment or a video. It's that make us Star1.

same here. I didn't like how they didn't want to take a risk. :/// and will we ever hear that track? smh public friendly or not, it could have opened  doors for Sistar as a group(if it was a title track). Who knows, maybe people would've actually ended up loving it for it's uniqueness?

 

Maybe they feel like it's too early to be risky? 

Maybe the lyrics were a little bit too personal, to be in a sistar album, we don't know. but i give you that they want to much that Sistar song has to be, as they say "public friendly".

this is what exactly I was thinking, star1 just should accept the fact that nothing will change complaining , I've seen many hyotties leaving, and some stans of the other girls not supporting sistar because they find unfair the line distribution.

I don't think it's THAT bad. After all the girls do what Starship ask them to do. I like what we got lately, nothing is perfect in this life, but I swear was great for me, all of the girls did their job. Hyolyn was epic as always. Soyou was great and sexy, Dasom was adorable. Some Bora stans, are complaining, because of "Naughty Hands" and i can understand that, and also, because Starship is neglecting the "Lead dancer" role of Bora in Sistar, and don't highlight her dancing skills. But beside that i think evrything is fine, after all we enjoy this comeback(s). After a whole year....

the first time SISTAR caught my heart is through SISTAR19-ma boy, but then i develop such feelings and loves for ALL OF THEM. i mean isn't it weird to favor one member & hate the rest? 

STAR1 please, when you said Bora didn't get enough line have you been to one of SISTAR concert? those "little" lines were the one that drive the fans crazy the most. she herself isn't really comfortable with singing, do yourself the favor and watch SISTAR 1theK radio. Dasom didn't get enough line? do you even consider how dasom herself feel about that? she has stated many times that she's still learning and look up to her unnies a lot, just be patient cause when it's time for her to shine & get more lines, SHE WILL. SoYou didn't get enough line? you need to get your ear checked my dear.

Hello there everybody over here in this beautiful thread .... Miss being around here ... I am soo happy to come back and find all these news, pics, vids, and an amazing comeback song with our beautiful queen

 

Now, I just have a Q. that is in my mind since a while .... I might find the answer with U as I am new to Kpop in general and to hyolyn in specific .... I have watched A LOT of vids. for hyolyn, variety shows, her drama, so many things and I observed something ....

 

Before 2013, Hyolyn was always laughing and smiling spontaneously, saying whtever on her mind directly without thinking .... IN SHORT BEING NATURAL, BEING HERSELF ..... and that's the main reason of my love, admiration and attraction to her .... It's a very unique character in her personality that is rare to find in other idols or celebrities .... but nowadays, after 2013, she kinda changed .... not laughing or smiling spontaneously like before, thinking carefully before talking or answering .... being quite most of the time on the show either a variety show, a singing show or even winning stages ... its like she is not like before ..... why is it like that ???

 

But what made me happy although all of these, is last year (2013) she was less happy than this year .... this year she looks happier and that's a source of happiness and relief

Welcome ! I don't think Hyolyn changed a lot she is still the same, she is still natural being herself, but she had  some "scandals"  so i guess she is thinking more before acting. To me the "scandals" were not, but she has to be more cautious in order to prevent any "controversy". I hope i understood of what you were talking about.
