I am a girl haha ummm long-ish story: so my first bias in Exo was Chanyeol because of the History music video. Then I watched the first live and was like whoa that guy was wearing a lot of highlighter/makeup on his face [i later found out it was Kai]. Then I watched the History practice video and I was like "oh it's that guy! OMG that guy is really cute!! and I could not stop watching Kai, he sucked me in with his dance. I love his no makeup face. So the whole time I was thinking Chan was my number one but I had to accept that Kai was becoming my number one bias. I couldn't stop thinking about Kai because he's so charismatic, cool, sexy, and cute.   He's perfect. I have a hard time deciding between him and Baek who my number one is so I'll just say it's tied? or changes slightly one some days haha

im not that surprise tbh, his personality is not much different than any stupid teenager at his age, so simple minded

and moody too but still adorable af. thats why i only found him sexy just when he was dancing

 

 

I'm not surprised at all =)) I read about Jongin's predebut accounts and I can see him as a normal teenager who loves manga, chickent and his family. He is a boy then he really doesn't care about birthday's gifts like girls, he just wants to make something stupid and funny. That's why his friends call him as "crazy weird" LOL =)

Sighs// I just have the impression of him coming from a normal family, therefore has the common sense to buy a decent gift for a friend/colleague.  I was just stunned that he would buy something like this, crashing all my expectations of him.  Whereas Chanyeol bought him a Michael Jackson mug (and it's not even Kai's birthday)... it just shows me that Chanyeol puts a lot more thought into buying something for a friend.  

Kai, please do better in episode 5!  I'm creying here ;_;  I'm sorry, I can't help but feel disappointed in him (ahhh crap, this is what happens when fan-fictions set high standards and reality doesn't meet </3)

I read quite a few fluffy Kai fics, which honestly isn't doing me any favour.  I really need to separate reality from imagination.  Oh God    I know the feeling of hating other members through fan fics, which I really should not do- well, I actually don't like Kris and his real self also gives me reason to   lol

 yeah i used to have that happen to me too. its part of the reason why i stopped reading them some years ago. they started messing with my feels and f-ing up my real life expectations

For me, that makes it even worse.  Someone tell me he bought another present (a proper one) off-cam for Chanyeol because if I were the birthday boy, I would be disappointed with such a present.  Haha reading fan-fics is still fun, but I need to start to separate my ideal image from reality.

OMG guys, I just realised that writing fanfics may be an unconscious way of promoting a group.  I mean, people read them and whatever the author feels and says in their stories may exercise influence on the readers, hence attacting them to the fandom.

SM just need us to be crazy about their group, and we're practically spreading the love on their behalf!

The eye make-up only made him look ridiculous.  It's too much on his face, which is not necessary because he is pure handsome without heavy artificiality.

 

As for the first set of gifs, /ramble/

 

those completely define Kim JongIn (and I mean Kim JongIn, not Kai) as he is in his own natural habitat.  His expression like that of a small child, very simple and sweet, emitting pure delight.  It isn't only shown in his smile, but in his eyes too; there is innocence about looking at the world from a child-like point of view that triggers my adoration for this guy.  Perhaps his sometimes loss of words or his chuckle in situations which follows the awkward atmosphere, nevertheless from every little insignificant smile, crinkle, the bobbing of his Adam's apple to his eyes wandering away from the camera out of shyness, I love them all.  I love how the small breeze ruffles his hair, swaying softly, and not unmoving as if they were gelled.  Others see him as not good-looking, ugly to an extent, but that's their opinion.  What I see here is a fine raw specimen slowly polishing himself into a perfect being; I'm not talking about his appearance, but his face gives me the impression that he works hard off-cam.  He is the perfect example of someone who combs through the fine art of dancing with everything else thrown aside, sure he is immature about the majority, but I see the ambition and sincerity placed into proving himself to be worthy dancer.  And that, my friends, is what makes Kim JongIn one of the most handsome guys in K-Pop.

What do you guys think about the rumors of him being part of that SM reality show? Many people are saying the rumored list is fake but who knows? I think it could be interesting but at the same time I'm kinda hesitant about it because Kai is too shy and quiet for those type of things... I don't want people to think he's boring and for this to hurt his popularity. An idol dancing reality show/competition on the other hand would be perfect for him.  

I think it's good for him to be in any show because he gets some recognition, but what he does it up to himself.  It may be seen as a good opportunity to open himself up and talk because, really, that's the best way to gain some attention other than his quiet self.  Nonetheless, appearing in a dancing competition would fare better.

Don't you think he carries the sexy image very well?  Apart from Kris, Chanyeol and Sehun, I don't think anyone else could do as good job as Kai is doing: he has the height, the aura, the potential is born within him.  I'm not saying a Sex God or anything like what most fan fics portray him as, but when he is on stage the presence speaks for itself and then when he dances...let's just say he's the refreshing type of appeal <3

 

I love his nose and never noticed anything weird or unproportional about it. People just want to find something to complain about and god forbid he doesn't look like a plastic doll or meets perfectly the crazy high korean beauty standards.
