It makes me sad to hear only "1-2 more dramas + a variety show" though. Like he sees there is a shelf-life to being an idol and afterwards he won't do anymore? The selfish part of me wants him to do lots of things for his career over the long-term. I guess he's taking a cautious 'we'll see what happens' approach, which is very Perfectionist Nini of him. Im glad that he got to see him perform at the olympics. When i think back about that day, it makes is even more painful to think of what he and his father were going through then. but also comforting to know that he lived to see his son achieve everything he has dreamed of. same i'm still in shock and couldn't stop crying, i know that he loves his family the most. i just hope that he and his family finds strength and are okay. I know we are all worried for him; he is undoubtedly surrounded by his sisters and mother, close friends and I assume EXO members, managers and choreographers will come by to pay respects too. It would be nice, after some time has passed, for the union of Kai fans to maybe make a gift of a donation in his father's name, maybe a dance or education scholarship, or for research in fighting serious illnesses. i'm fine now, thanks cat. it was such heart breaking news, as soon as i woke up and read that on twitter i couldn't control my emotions. i feel so sorry for him and i feel so bad because can't do anything for him knowing he's in pain :'( Same. It just seems so unfair. He is so young to go through this. Kai is blessed to have such amazing parents. The way they raised him, the value they taught, it shows the kind of people they are themselves. Im keep crying, thinking about how he will never be the same again. How this will effect him, change him. Like we've lost our baby baer. Now he is going to grow up and mature, be tinged with this sadness, like a part of him has also lost today. Does this make sense? I feel like i am also mourning his loss of being someone's child. Until now he was his mother's little one, his sisters' baby brother and now he is responsible towards them. Like he is going to have to grow up now, in an emotional way. I am afraid of how this will change him. He will be able to bear this loss, right? there is no way to know what kai has been through nor how much the pain he is in right now. losing someone is never that easy and will never be easy especially when you lost someone who is very important in your life. give him all the time he needs to recover and let him figure it out on his own.
