LOL you don't like the mushroom hair? I didn't mind it, until I saw it from the back. They have to back comb all this hair to the front and it sometimes looks really unnatural lol.

today's episode is quite boring and not even the funny one, but i think the next ep finally will be more interesting

 

 

i don't blame you, although Andente is such a cute and light hearted drama, it can get a bit boring and monotonous.

 

 

ooh btw since we have seen enough of kai's acting. we can clearly see that his acting has improved and he did pretty well for his first lead role in a drama. he really potrayed shikyung's character just right, an immature high school teenager.

maybe in some scenes he was still lacking or even overdoing it but overall it was quite natural, well done bby

or do you guys have different opinion about his acting skills?

 

and do you think kai will get another roles after this? do you think he is capable plays a role outside of his comfort zone? what kind of theme or characters do you want to see kai to have in his next movies/dramas?

 

 

honestly i wanna see kai in a comedy-romantic theme drama, i think kai can play a funny character really well.

and for movies i hope he can get a role in high budget action/drama genre with a great story line, it doesn't have to be the main lead as long as the character is not boring and not the basic cool guy character. i want him to play a dynamic character, an emotional-damage or a broken person something more dark, so he can shows a lot of emotions, it's gonna be super challenging for him, idk if he can pull that off tho lol

but mostly i want him to be comfortable to do these acting gigs, so hopefully we will hear another good news for actor-kai sooner or later

 

It doesn't help that I find most K-dramas redundant. lol. But, that's not it, because that aside I do think it's pretty funny/amusing it's just 1 hour per ep is a commitment 

 

I am pleasantly surprised by how much he improved I hope he keeps working on his acting some more if he wants to pursue a career in this field~

For me Andante is perfect for my Sunday morning -- light, funny, sweet and stress-free. I like that it is an ensemble cast with their own things going on, With all the things going on in the world where it seems that cruel, ruthless people win all the time, I want to watch something which shows Shikyung growing and becoming a sweet guy.

 

As for Kai, I am proud of him doing so well and improving since Choco Bank (and Exo Next Door, let's not forget that opus lol). I can see why he was drawn to this story and Shikyung's character. And I can see why he picked a role involving a high-school kid, as Kai is still quite maknae and somehow enjoys cultivating a link with his childhood self.

 

I don't know when he will take on a dark role, but I don't think it will be for a year or two yet. Sometimes you need o experience it in your real life to be able to breathe life into a character like that.

 

Don't forget that in January Kai will be in the Japanese drama Spring Has Come ! I love j-doramas. This one looks like a love story with some sadness, so once again ActorKai is expanding his repertoire.

Hello everyone, you don't know how happy I was when I found this thread, I'm fairly new in Kpop and I've never thought that in my 29 years of existence I would found myself stanning someone that I barely even know.

Really I still can't believe it. 

Two months ago I was watching some videos on YouTube when I stumbled upon a video of Big Bang and I was captivated by de colors, the music and the atractive boys in general, later I found that they are in a kind of hiatus you already now why and one thing led to the other and a person recommended me to watch some Exo's videos, I was kinda apprehensive at first 'cause I didn't want to get to involve in Kpop but curiosity killed the cat.

The first video I watched was Growl, the first thing that  caught my attention was the song (I liked a lot) sadly I couldn't tell the boys apart they all looked the same at least to me, so I decided to watch another video and that's when my destiny was sealed. It was the Monster's MV, I liked the song but this time what caught my attention was the HANDSOME blond guy. He was the only one who really looked manly and not feminine, which I've discovered was the common pattern in Kpop (really most of the guys look like girls). 

After many videos later I discovered that I could not take my eyes away from Kai, not only because He is handsome (I still can't believe this guy is real) but because of the passion he exuded while performing.

I could talk hours about his dancing but I know that you guys understand me better that anyone else about this so I'm not gonna say more except that art, perfection and passion describe it best.

But what put the final nail in the coffin was his dorky and shy personality and his love for books and chicken, what a duality, indeed what a duality.

I've been reading this thread from page 1 but I haven't finished it yet, is like reading a documentary of his life, it's like watching him grow up before my very own eyes all thanks to you. 

I'm in awe at the maturity in which all of you expresses your love and admiration (and lust and thirst  ) toward him.

 

Now it's time to appreciate this fabulous man through other people's eyes:

Kai: Did you all enjoy today, are you happy? I was really happy. I actually couldn't sleep that well throughout the 3 days of the concert. for the 1st day, I was nervous, the 2nd day, because I made a mistake.. and for the 3rd day, my head was just complicated with thoughts.

Thinking about it, I have danced for 10~16 years. I spent nearly half of my life dancing. I first thought it was just my life, and what made me happy. After some performances, I feel disappointed in myself, sometimes I feel happy.

I once thought to myself, 'when did I feel the most happiest while dancing?' And the answer that came to me was when I perform in front of you all. I think of 'happiness' a lot, but I don't think it's that complicated. It's just doing what I love, and seeing you all be happy.

I always try to be in a good mood, because I think when I'm happy, you all are happy. I think I will be happy forever if I dance in front of you all. Just thinking about it makes me happy.

I wanted to say something after the concert ends to Shim Jaewon hyung who has been with me through all ups and downs throughout practicing, whenever I got hurt or depressed at my mistakes. I really thank you. So much.

 

He's been talking about happiness a lot and I love how he always emphisize that it's something you find in the little things as well as the big
