They have the jazzy vibe and the powerful voices that when u listen you can relax. The Ark- strong choreography, a fucking good young rapper,2 awesome vocals and Halla's perfect face is everything. The only bad thing is their management, i hope the company promote them better. Twice- although ppl love to criticize them, they still can be one of the best groups, they have something that can make you fall in love with them, they can put a different concept and they have Momo (sorry...i'm too biased). Well, these are the groups i think, not trying to make the others inferior but the cute, innocent concept is something that ppl get tired, an axample is snsd and 2ne1, one of the best ggs and even tho they are cute sometimes, they have that sexy and swag concept that atracts a lot of people and i see a lot of companies debuting cute groups with the same style and concept(but they still good). If you're basing this all off of talent, then sure they can, but that's not really what makes a group top tier. SNSD and 2ne1 are gg walls, yet they're not known for their stunning talent, are they? The Ark is only known internationally, and only slightly at that. Almost no one in Korea even knows them sadly. They come from a small company, and have no media play, no public recognition, and that all plays a huge part in popularity and rising to top tier. I don't see how they can get to the very top like the other groups you mentioned unless they release a hit single that instantly sky rockets, but hopefully they'll at least rise out of nugudom and get some recognition. At this rate I just want them to be somewhat known in Korea Imo there's Gfriend, Red Velvet, and Lovelyz as well. I would also include Oh My Girl, but maybe I'm being too biased lol. If we talk about potential I think if gfriend change concept and pull it off then they will be top tier, twice are stan attractors and 2 to 3 possible IT girls so if jyp wont mess up they surely will be a top group. Red velvet I feel like won't be as big as a national girl group like snsd but could be as big as apink. I like them a lot probably next to twice but I guess if one of them pulls off a hyeri or eunji they can be as big as snsd but right now I dont see that happening but no one also thought hyeri would do so well in reply ao anything is possible. It's not a given that Gfriend will reach the top either, they just have a chance. The only GIVEN is Twice and YGGG if they ever debut. I think WJSN has a good shot too if they are promoted properly Red Velvet it depends on how successful the new boy group is. If it is super successful then SM will do what it does and neglect RV, FX, Shinee, SJ etc. RV is largely dependent on SM's promotional muscle, media play and arm twisting of music show producers. I mean they had to add a member because the first 4 were not good and their "visual" is like almost 30 years old... if that doesn't show SM's power nothing does also it'll take any group at least 3 years to get to "top" level in Korea and if SM debuts the other GG, then RV is pretty screwed. to this point RV has had good songs and concepts but we've all seen how SM will cannibalize SNSD's songs to give good ones to TTS and how EXO gets great sons and SM craps on SJ etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
