(He manages Tao's studio in Beijing and takes care of everything - daily necessities, Weibo other medias etc.) Some excerpts:"Now, my friends always tell me 'your son is a big star, something something'. I agree with this comment, he should have gone to a bigger agency and back off from managing his son, he doesn't have the knowledge in entertainment industry. victaorious 2,923 Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Actually a lot of the top comments on Tao related articles are organized, often paid antis, and while I'm sure some people legit had a problem with the dad (as internet folks are really uptight and Puritan), what surprises me is that some of them are really positive. Honestly thought it would be worse. Tao's dad cares and I fully agree that it is better for Tao to be independent and at the head of a small company than in a big company, getting as big as Huayi bros is a massive goal but someone was able to do it so why not set the goals high? Tao has a lot of potential to do really interesting things that would be squashed in the wrong environment. Anyway Tao's team gets a lot of criticism but he's getting great projects and seems to have a great deal of control over what he participates in. I feel it's better than being too corporate, even if there are more blunders along the way. Anyways Tao's dad seems fascinating and also a little "difficult", I imagine they butt heads at times. Anyways, I think with all the money he has, he should hire professionals who have been entertainment business before to do PR, he can be behind the scene and make executive decisions.
