Today is my last day on OneHallyu .

I hate CJ. I am a fan of bitchy 2nd lead in Korea Dramas. But I really hate those ones who are innocent outside and bitchy inside. (sorry for using bitchy again) ke ke

 

But, allo, according to Asian and Korean Beauty Standard, Yoona is actually the prettiest female idols alongside with Suzy. (Sulli has best individual parts, eyes, nose, mouth, ears,etc.., but when combining all these parts, Yoona and Suzy have no rival.)

 

All SNSD members are gorgeous, but when Yoona is in the center, my attention is just on Yoona (I don't even notice Jessica (my bias in SNSD).

TBH, at first i found Suzy to be adorable and that's pretty much it. And didn't see the obsession with her as well but she has a huge charming personality and smile going for her. And my goodness she's been blooming.

I actually had to quit Korean dramas because I was getting so tired of them doing that. And then I would only watch dramas that didn't have two male leads fighting for the female.

It's very tiring on our souls.

I've been watching J-drama's lately because Korean one's have gotten ridiculous lately, that being one of the reasons why. I was just watching GFB for Suzy, but I actually like the plot so far so now it's the only Kdrama I'm paying attention to atm. And yes, I feel you, it really tugs at your soul....like you have this sweet guy who would do anything for you but instead you pick the asshole rich guy who doesn't really show his feelings to you and leaves you in a constant state of doubts and pain.

And yes it annoys me to no end. Like in Playful Kiss, wanted to smack some sense into the main lead. Same thing with other drama's: Boys over Flowers, To the Beautiful You, etc etc etc.....

 

The reason why like like Dream High so much is that there was no defined 'bad guy' so Hye Mi didn't look like a complete dumbo lusting over some asshole.

Why is everyone talking about Seo Hwa and a Japanese person? Does this has something to do with episode 12? I haven't seen it yet, but I'm watching it tomorrow. I watched episode 11 today and loved it!   It reminded me of Avatar: The Last Airbender's episode "The Headband". Suzy's acting is getting really good!

Hey guys, I know that many of you feel bad about negative comments by k-netizens in NB and negative articles in nate, so I found a comment that explains why is that so, so it will make you feel better.

It's by a korean fan of Suzy, you probably have seen her under the articles in allkpop protecting Suzy, she is also one of the translators for forsuzy94. She commented this under the last article about Suzy winning that beauty poll.

Ok that's your opinion, but I'm saying that most (Korean) people would disagree with you. I'm a Korean netizen myself, and Netizen Buzz is crap for actually knowing the general public's opinion. This poll is probably way more accurate since it surveyed 22,104 people. K-netizens on Nate love to bash Suzy and Kim Tae Hee, and always praise Yoona, no matter what the article is about. This is because of a couple of reasons

1. the SNSD fandom in Korea is really powerful compared to the miss A fandom (which is basically nonexistent) and they actually have organized comment voting on these articles.

2. Ilbe users (kind of like the 4chan of Korea except worse) mass downvote comments that are Suzy-positive because she is from Gwangju, a province known for its democratization movement. As in, they literally just link articles about Suzy on their boards and swarm the comments section, because they are of the far right (politically). Most Koreans hate Ilbe and call them "Ilbe trash/scum."

3. Nate is mainly made up of jealous women that hate on the most popular celebrity. They loved Suzy when she wasn't as popular, but hate on her now since she is #1. Back when Yoona was on top, all the Nate comments were hating on her as well, saying she was talentless etc.

I don't think i-fans realize how much "politics" there is behind these netizen top comments. It's a lot more complicated than people think.

Btw I wrote this comment because I wanted to be informative, not just because I'm a Suzy fan. Personally I love both Suzy and Yoona  but hopefully some of you guys will learn that top netizen comments don't really mean anything out in the real world.

 

 

I really suggest that you don't read the comments in netizen buzz, 'cos they purposely translate only negative comments. At least they had the decency to add this declaimer in the right corner of their blog
