miss A′s Suzy Tries On a Beautiful Hanbok for ′Gu Family Book′

 

Suzy will be flaunting her feminine side inGu Family Book by shedding the warrior suit and donning a beautiful hanbok.

 

 

The hanbok scenes have especially been drawing interest as Suzy will appear in a feminine image completely different from the boyish image she has been putting on for the drama. She was seen with her hair hair let loose, in a light yellow top with a light pink dress.

Shooting for the scenes took place on May 15 at a set in Yongin. Suzy especially showed how much she cared for the scene, trying on many different hanboks to find the right one. Actors and supporting actors even stayed behind to see Suzy appear in the hanbok after word spread that she would be appearing as a cute girl.

Suzy managed to gather explosive reactions as soon as she appeared on set, with staff saying she was "so pretty."

During the shoot, she came up with new ideas for the scene, often talking them over with producer Shin Woo Chul.

Producer Park Tae Young commented on the scene, "Suzy took off her boyish image to appear as a woman in a hanbok dress, and this scene is important in her relationship with Lee Seung Gi. Suzy′s cute and lovely charms met with Lee Seung Gi to make another masterpiece scene."

The hanbok scenes will air on the May 20 broadcast of MBC′s Gu Family Book.

Miss A’s Suzy, 2AM and More JYP Stars Wish Happy Coming-of-Age Day

 

 

 

It’s the day that many in Korea have been waiting for as today is Coming-of-Age day.

As becoming legal is a momentous occasion in any country, JYP Entertainment’s stars are doing their part to welcome the once-teenagers into adulthood.

 

 

 

 

The agency released a collage of the stars currently dominating the small screen, from miss A’s Suzy and 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Seulong to actors Lee Jung Jin and Choi Woo Shik as well as many more, holding a bouquet of roses, a representative Coming-of-Age Day gift via its official Facebook page on May 20. 

The agency included the message, "JYP artists, who are active on [the] TV screen these days, salute everyone who became of-age."

Suzy is currently starring in Gu Family Book, while 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Seulong have also taken over the small screen in their respective dramas God of the Workplace and Heaven’s Will.

There’s no shortage of gorgeous girl group members in K-Pop, but which idol is a true doll?

 

 

Beauty brand Regen Cosmetics took to the streets of Seoul’s Gangnam Station from May 1 to 15 to ask women in their 20s which girl group member they considered to be the ‘Ultimate Porcelain Doll.’ 

The results of the poll, which gathered over 598 responses, crowned Suzy, who collected 48.3 percent of votes, as the ultimate porcelain doll, while Kara’s Goo Hara followed in second with 25.2 percent and f(x)’s Krystal in third with 24.l2 percent. 

A rep from Regen Cosmetics shared, “Many women are benchmarking girl group members these days. They have a lot of interest in beauty. There’s a lot of interest in girl group members’ skin and makeup. You need to have nice skin in order to see the most refined and natural results when applying basic makeup to tinted makeup.â€

miss A’s Suzy Sings with a Bare Face at a Recording Studio

 

 

 

Recently, several photos of Suzy working on the OST for drama “Gu Family Book†are receiving a lot of attention.

In the released pictures is miss A’s Suzy at a recording studio. She is wearing a comfortable striped shirt and a military-green hat. Even though she is not wearing much makeup, Suzy still looks natural and beautiful in these photos.

In one picture, Suzy sends a lovely and adorable message to her fans with a handwritten sign that says, “Please enjoy the OST for MBC’s drama ‘Gu Family Book.’ Suzy sang it.â€

Meanwhile, Suzy lent her voice for the track “Don’t Forget Me,†which is a love themed song for the characters Choi Gang Chi, played by Lee Seung Gi, and Dam Yeo Wool, played by Suzy.

Poor baby! :sad: That's a warning sign when she actually starts crying. She always tries to be strong all the time. Baby is not a machine, she cannot stay strong forever. I didn't even know her schedule was cray packed like that, a couple nights of only 2 hrs sleep and I'd be irritable too. They need to give her a break before her beautiful smile fades forever.

Those who are all over the place usually has a very packed schedule.

She does try to smile all the time for us, to hide all those pain and frustrations that she has with  everything.

and regarding Suzy crying ... I think it is both a boon and bane. Bane because we normally don't perceive her as someone easily breaking down (to the extent of crying in a conference! Like imagine the amount of pressure that she has to endure to resort to crying.  ) , but a boon because she is letting out her feelings. Letting the people know who casts such bad titles like "10 billion CF girl" (like what?! Ugh) that these kind of situations is indeed very pressuring to undertake. Hopefully I hope the media get into their senses and stop exaggerating whatever they can get hold of.   

 

Anyhows, wish our maknae can stand up strong amidst all this. *hugs Suzy*

Yeah, and I think she has been keeping the hurt, frustrations, and everything in herself for awhile now. I remember her interview with CeCi and I was quite worried and disturbed with how she handles her frustrations and problems. She said that she just keep it to herself and if she couldn't contain her feelings anymore, she would run along the River Han. 

 

She doesn't want to bother anyone with her problems but sometimes, people need to be heard of. People need to pour out their problems and frustrations to another human being because humans need compassion and understanding. You're right; I think she cried because of LSG's words. Maybe she felt that this person actually understands her and her frustrations. /sigh

 

I hope that Lee Seunggi could comfort her after that media session. She needs someone she can talk to, someone who can understand what she's going through and LSG might just be that person. 

 

At this times, I think Suzy needs us more than ever. As we cannot be there physically, we can only be strong for her and support her no matter what!

2. Drag the .srt file and drop it into the video - the subtitles will then appear!

Have you guys noticed that miss A rarely wears bright color clothing when they're promoting? We'll see a little color here in there, but most of time they're in either black or white. I already know that if they decide to comeback during the Summer, their style is going to be completely different from the past. At least I hope so :S

They're mostly in dark / black-white hue... but yeah, except for Breathe. 

Idk why, probably has to do with concept and their ages (except for Suzy).
