Just finished watching episode 12 of Gu Family Book, and omg! Here's all my comments in the spoiler

 

 

• I say this every episode, but it's so true! This time it reminded me of "The Swamp" episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender when Gon said they had ran past the same tree twice, for a sec I though Kang Chi's power in the forest was so strong he was able to move the trees around
   
• I gasped 2 times when Yeo Wool grabbed Kang Chi's hand. i was soooo waiting for them to just kiss or something, but it didn't happen. but Kang Chi's face as he looked at Yeo Wool in the moment was everything omg   Didn't ship them before, but.... since Chung Jo faking, I'm now team KangWool lol And you notice she got him to calm down WHEN HE WASN"T WEARING THE BRACELET! This is friggin key for the future, I'm mad the episode didn't want to make note of it, but okay
   
• What I don't get is what happened with Chung Jo and that evil guy? He didn't rape her, did he? Because that bed showed no signs of distress, no blood, wasn't messy, Chung Jo was able to walk fine... did he just make her sleep next to her? Because he told Tae Seo that "she could bare more responsibility" if he failed the mission. Or does the evil guy mean possible pregnancy and child birth?
   
• Back to ATLA... The writers had ot have watched that show, it's the only way I see sooo many similarities. Kang Chi is Aang (The Avatar), Yeo Wool is Katara, Gon can be Sokka since he's always around lol. Tae Seo is like Zuko because he was bad but now he's apparently good. And then the whole Four Masters thing is just like The White Lotus, which were a group of allies to the Avatar who were masters of the 4 elements. I think the 4 Masters are The cook guy, Yeo Wool's dad, the navy admiral and the head Gisaeng lady.
   
• And lastly, so glad his parents are back! Time to kick butt lol I believe that the lady at the end is Seo Hwa and she's back which woke up Kang Chi's dad.

i dont' understand how Kang Chi's mom could possibly be still alive. I specifically remember her dying. And how did everyone figure out it's Kang chi's mom!

 

Also i'm very disappointed with chung jo...very...Like i mean i understand her being terrified and upset with Kang Chi but there was something about the way she gave in to the evil guy..i dunno I don't want to say a comment that belittles rape if it was rape. It happens in so many different ways.

 

BUT I'M LOVING THE SENSE kang chi is finally getting in regards to yeo wool! And i feel bad for Gon... poor baby

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well we never actually saw her die die, we just saw her get stabbed with the sword. I only speculate that it's Seo Hwa because at the end of the episode, as soon as that lady met with the evil guy, the forest was awakened which is Kang Chi's dad. So Kang Chi's dad senses anger or something, that why he woke up. He's still hurt over how his love betrayed him.
