Yes I remember. I guess it's cause we all thought that our favourite group deserved the awards so the situation was kinda tense on both sides. Friendly competition doesn't harm anyone. I remember us all agreeing that we didn't want SISTAR to take home the award lol.

the sexy lady with sexy feifei ,but for touch and gbb,it was jonte,some black guy who worked on wg's be my baby and single ladies.i think SM's choreo is handled by rino nakasone and recently tony testa,correct if i'm wrong,isnt it?

 Thanks, I have never seen that lady ,I know Jonte though "Touch" and "GBB" are some of my favourite choreos from miss A

Rino has worked with f(x) during their early days but then Jilian Meyers took over and simplified f(x)'s choreos >.<

But their working with Kevin Maher for this comeback so we'll see how that turns out.

Both usually work with American artists so a casual fan wouldn't really know the. You can look them up on Youtube though if you're interested.

from the AKP article, Fei said she and Suzy have filming something with 2PM. For Min, she have twitter conversation with Junho and Wooyoung.. They said to Min to come faster for filming. They already waiting for long time.

So 2PM and Miss A have filming something but idk whether Jia already comeback from NYC or not that time..

i think jia came back,cause she mentioned sunday,idk,i could be wrong,looks like its another cf,most likely KTO,since they have been endorsing them from 2011,methinks,or it a hella of a co-ed subunit,or variety show,or they be just trolling.

Seems like Fei is also having a short vacation like Jia, I try to remember last time Suzy like that, being on vacation ... Min seems like she always does what she wants, the member with the most freedom.

i agree with you,that suzy needs rest,and about min having the most freedom,the thing is. . . . min is the most socially outgoing of the 4.so it seems that way,partly cause her primary interest is music and variety,since they aren't active musically,and the group hasn't been on variety for long time.so she utilizes her free time. . . .well she needs work,lol,and the privileges shared by miss A are the same under the same contract,they are elegible to take time off in their free time,you also have to take in account,that fei and jia are pretty far away from home,they get homesick easily,so they need to see their family and friends at least once a year.and suzy did take some time off after "big" and also briefly after dream high,but she spent most of her free time with her members,remember suzy's mother came for fei and jia,cause they were feeling homesick

bottom line,there are no special treatments,just unbalanced promotions

and JYPE doesn't replicate nor do slave contracts,this is just overworking one particular member.in fact they were the first ones who protested against such a practice.JYP didnt like such things,that is the reason you see many trainees and artists leaving at their own will and joining other agencies.sorry for the long ass post.

although i am particularly worried how is she going to live alone now without fei. -_-

My guess about Min, is that the company gives most freedom to her, 'cos she was let down by them and now they feel guilty. She trained so many years for a solo debut that never happened. Probably she requested herself this kind of freedom for herself, and it's understandable why they agreed about this.

 

Honestly, we can't be sure about their contracts, they may be the same, may be not. It looks to me that Suzy has to wait for her managers to decide whether she will have a break or not. I remember what Lee Sung Gi said about that recently, that he feels bad for her, 'cos even in what is suppose to be her free time she is shooting CF or something else. So basically, she rarely has free time.

 

Only Min is living with a relative, so the other 3 are equal in not being able to see their family.

 

I am sure she did take rest, I am not saying that she never did, but that she almost never does.

 

Of course there is special treatment, one example is Min, the other is Suzy. For Min is obvious, and above I explained why I think is the way it is. For Min the treatment is positive, if it can be called this way, since she was screwed up by the company before that... and for Suzy is negative for most of it. Yeah great, they gave her a chance to start as an actress as well, which helped her career very much, but this doesn't mean they can treat her like money cow now. The company is also restricting Suzy the most, since she is the most famous and the public eye is on her right now. She can't have a boyfriend, she is suppose to act and look in a certain way, she is not suppose to wear much make up and so on and on. She is probably going out with people just for the public, I mean other idols, acts like she is friends with them, then suddenly we see no interactions between them, like IU and Jiyeon for example, there are surely more.

As I said, she barely has any privileges, being such a good earner for her company, which is exactly what is absurd here.

 

Oh pls... the only company who actually don't do that and treats their biggest artist with the needed respect is YG, non other. No wonder Akdong chose YG instead. The worst has to be Core Contents Media.

and by your logic,min should'nt do what she does in her free time,then?,what should she do then,if the company doesn't do anything for her?,that isn't special treatment,that is negligence,they don't have activities like suzy,realize this,suzy can only rest and have free time and vacations,if the company restrains her activities,which are becoming too hectic for her,to fulfill public demand,i and others already said this previously in the thread,which led to arguing in the thread.and the contract is the same,they are all handled by AQE,suzy is binded by the same terms and regulations as stated,under AQE,again i am not spurting nonsense,but sharing what i read from fans from tumblr,soompi since i became a fan from 2011 etc.btw the company didnt screw her over,her U.S stint wasn't working,so she went to korea.and so what i said about JYPE condenming slave contracts is a lie then? lol,we could continue.but clearly your POV is different,and i just stated what i observed and saw from fans who answered such questions.so as too say i respect your POV. and i thank you for listening to mine.

Hahah, how can someone give solution to this? The company will obviously do what is in its interests. This problem goes for the whole industry and can be seen in many other companies, groups and individual members and I simply expressed my indignation about it. What drives them are sick ambitions and greed obviously and no, I don't have solution for human greed. ;)

I was active in akp, not in h8, so I don't know anyone who posted there.

 

I believe one of the reasons why say a are divided and even as one korean fan said, miss a basically doesn't have a fandom in Korea, is that miss a isn't a typical kpop group for teens, I mean their music is for more mature audience. Despite 'Breathe', they barely have any other classic kpop sounded songs. Those groups with a classic kpop sound are a lot more successful in Korea, this goes especially for girl groups. Plus Miss a has only 4 members, more members would have made more fans for the individual members. So if we say that the majority of their fans aren't teens, this could explain why there aren't many active fans, 'cos grown ups don't have time to go around forums and spazz around, create and update blogs, vote and so on. Teen fans or younger fans are a lot more active in these things. Of course there are exceptions, we can see examples of them in this forum. And still recently, some expressed their wish to start lurk around only and they rarely backtrack. A fan above 20, will be active for a shorter period of time, than those under 20, even under 17. Though I am 24, I guess I am more active now, 'cos kpop is kind of a new thing to me, but with such an intensive spazzing, I guess in a year or two, I'll be done with being so active. lol

cause according to one source,she has contacts within the korean fanclub,n3ssa-chan,you may have heard of her,one time in soompi,she explained the reason for a divided fanclub,is cause,they are suzy fans who are interested in her only,the DC gallery is an example,and then they are the "miss A " fans,who were either wonderfuls,or jyp nationals,you may see jyp nationals here supporting every group also,or fei/jia/min fans who fell in love with them during min's trainee period,and zhejiang tv for jyp sisters,the minority,and then their are casual fans,those are ones who cause the most trouble.since suzy fans,care about her only,

and their are alot of casual fans,tensions keep happening between them,the int'l fandom is applicable to this too,collectively the int'l fandom is pretty chill,if you take allkpop,OH,fan-sites and dedicated tumblrs into account,then they are suzy fans,and the worst of the lot,casual fans who spout bullshit.a.k.a miss A confessions and youtube commenters.

and you also take in account how they were promoted in 2012,then tensions get high a bit on both sides,now they are also individual stans like some sueeties,m&ms,jiattacks,feithfuls who support the group too,this thread for example,with the exclusion of some random arguments,they know how to support the girls too.the korean daum fanclub supports them and buy their albums etc.this doesn't happen with us only,it happened with wg,and 2pm/jay park too.but since fans are fans,they get frustrated,with some company "decisions",infighting happens.a good cb will fix this.and miss A may have a mature sound,but girl groups like B.E.G also possess such qualities,but everlastings are united,and they have plenty of old fans way back from 2006.and a survey was conducted by a credible source for girl groups,and miss A's target audience was b/w the age of 16 and 20.mostly young females,like 2ne1,cause they ensue female enpowerment.thats what i think.

So what, you also thing that it's only Suzy's fans fault now? You honestly believe that they are all that bad as people say? Do you have your own opinion, or you just take other people's opinions and point them as the only valid one? Or you also share this opinion? The only problem about her fans is that they are more than the whole group has. After all her fans are not obliged to like and support the entire group only 'cos Suzy is a part of it. I can't see how come this is the problem and how can other fans actually blame them for this, it's just ridiculous. Plus most of them are kdrama lovers, they don't even follow kpop, so I don't expect that they will support the group.

How I interpreted this, is that you're saying that because there are so many people within this fandom and the more casual fans that either stan one person, be it Suzy/Min/Fei/or Jia, that keeps it fractured. (However, your post does come off as if you're mostly blaming Suzy fans for the discord.)

 

Of course there are plenty of us here and elsewhere that have one or two particular members that we follow much more than the others, but at the end of the day we love seeing all four together and cheer them on towards success in various ways. We wouldn't be in this forum otherwise, I hope. But there are also the fans of just one member of the group that follow the music because they like that person, but wouldn't consider themselves miss A fans overall because they don't really care about the other members.

 

I'm sure we all know those "Say As" (personally I don't know why you would consider yourself a say A if you have problems with one or more members of the group) or casual fans that have no problem putting it out there that one girl is better than another or other comments that like to inflame arguments within the fandom. Some of these fans create friction through their posts on fb and other sites, often because they're focused only on their fav and either tend to kind of spam that person or bring the other members down through their lack of support. I've noticed this in various places. We've seen the confessions that will say things like, "I like Suzy, but don't think it's right how she overshadows the others" or things like "Suzy should just go solo" or "I love miss A, but the most untalented one is getting the most attention- it's not fair" or "i think Jia doesn't like Suzy anymore". Which creates friction between miss A fans that love every member, those that feel that their favs have been slighted and have started to dislike Suzy because of it, etc. We've all seen things like this. It happens.

 

Personally, I don't have a problem with people stanning just one person. That's completely fine with me. Be a Sueweetie or M&M- and if you don't like miss A overall because that's not your music style- that's fine. However, it becomes an issue when they have to tear down members of that group just to make their bias seem better. Doesn't matter what fandom- they should keep that mess to themselves.
