Always a good thing if an artist has the balls to try something different right off the bat when given the creative licence to do so. Good shout with the Colors theme too, I didn't even notice that it was a planned thing. When it comes to solo compositions, is it bad that I kinda want the girls to build a decent body of work asap just so we can compare and brag about our faves?

Btw do you think that it's a good thing that BC are no longer uploading her videos on their main channel? The first ones pulled decent numbers but since she opened her own channel, the latter one's aren't getting the same kind of exposure.

To put it lightly

Banana culture has been shit recently promoting Jia,her new single isn't even uploaded on any international platforms at all,we have no word on the MV too.The Vevo channel thing was good,but they didn't even tell anyone about it,It was only when Jia told us we knew.

Seems like the rest of their attention spans is on the new trainees recently.
She was gonna have a comeback in August,but it got pushed back I think

OH NO NO NO NO! I knew there was a reason why I wasn't excited for this release at all. Give this collab a wide pass you guys. At first I thought it was gonna be a banging party song, the spiritual successor to Miss A's Rock N' Rule. Instead, we get this weird uninspiring beat and extremely repetitive lyrics. Upon first listen you could tell that it was a throwaway track. Min gets 2 verses (besides the hook) and she really tries too hard here with her English pronunciations (and fails). Seeing as it's Halloween and all, it's best we run as far away from this monstrosity asap. You know you're in trouble when it's the token rapper who has the most listenable bits in the song. The hype for what's coming up next is waning for me if she is content with this standard.

This was the title track though! I know mixtapes are all about experimentation and creative freedom but still. Marathon was repetitive as well but infinitely listenable for me. Maybe my brain is too small to understand the appeal of this production but you know what the scary thing for me was? I've never been put off by Min's vocals the same way this song made me feel. Maybe because the lyrics were so trashy I dunno. That forced English was so cringe.

Do you guys have a preference when it comes to the language of the music that the girls release or is it a case of whatever, I'm good either way? When you get consecutive English and Chinese releases, you do start to want Korean releases again and then vice versa.

I feel a sudden sense of fuzziness inside when Fei/Jia sing in Korean Like She sang miss A's Stuck yesterday,and How Jia covered Shaun's Way Back Home

I want Fei to promote in Korea again.

 

 

 

I know it sounds Abit selfish,but I want her interacting with other second gen artists, discuss shit on talk shows and variety,I know none of the other members will ever even be able to do that.

 

 

 

I prefer Min keeps releasing mostly English material,but I'll like Korean releases also .
