I was hooked from the get go no bamboozle! We've gotten snippets of 3 original English language songs + 1 Korean language song so far. I saw on her Instastories that work on one of these songs had started over a year ago which is really surprising. Why did it take so long? On another Instastory, we got to see her DAW workflow which showed something like 20+ demo tracks in production. I'm not sure if they all belong to her but if they do then HOLY SHIT!

Fei's collab with Gen Neo is really good. I knew the guy was a really talented composer but I didn't know he could sing that well too. I'm glad that Fei had the opportunity to work with him. She sounded as good as she looked and that was heaps! I just wish the whole mv wasn't b/w. Maybe the depressing nature of it fit with the lyrics but it didn't do the outside scenes any justice.

The first of many to come I bet. She took ownership of all aspects of the song's production so I guess you could say... it's truely her own little baby. About time ha! These little passion projects mean so much more, we should be really proud of her for wanting to learn and giving it a right go.

When I watched the mv, I was thinking they should've used a muted blue filter + film during sunset. Let the fading light play off the water. The b/w can work but in this case, it just sucks all the life out of it is all. Btw, do you have translated lyrics of the song to share with us?

Her styling... dunno if that was a throwback or we going full futuristic here. Pretty cool aesthetics nonetheless. The instrumental sounded like an anime op on first listen, then the breathy vocals kinda come out of nowhere and it took me a few listens to get my head around it. Maybe it was a tad overdone. P.S. On weibo She has been using the Colorfulmusic hashtag ,and it started From Weapon (Red),Free (Green) and Now Exception (Grey),what I get from it is that I don't it's hard to explain,but consider as to why Miss A named their album colors,it's something like that.
It's basically her exploring her musical side I think,trying out different things.

And I liked it the way she sang,I write see it being used in scores,and some indie songs .I think this one was my favorite Jia track out of all of them.

Like It belongs in a Square Enix game .

The beginning does sound like anime.And the whispering like voice does make sense in context considering how sad the lyrics are.

I think she has immense talent in composing if this is an indication, because she used Non conventional methods for a pop song.
