You can see from her past interviews and other member's statements about her that she is the type of person that often feels alone. She likes her me time, but she also wants to go hang out with people. Yeah people always have something to hate on, but just because she makes some money and is a celeb doesn't mean that her concerns and worries suddenly aren't valid.

 

What's so wrong about not wanting her children to become a singer? As a well established singer in the industry, she knows exactly how harsh everyone is and how dark the industry really is - I'm sure she wants to have her kids avoid what she went through. Although I feel though if her kids really expressed their desires even if Taeyeon told them about what it's really like, she wouldn't say no.

 

Plus, this statement is also really old - but come on man. If someone is having a hard time, you shouldn't just say "Oh that's not even bad because you're making a lot of money, WHEREAS I AM HAVING A HARD TIME BECAUSE ....." It doesn't work like that people

These comments are so annoying tbh.  These people are still human, not fucking robots.  Of course getting insulted day in and day out will get to most people.

Hmm, sure. You do have to be aware of what being a celebrity will bring to you, but that doesn't mean you can't/shouldn't address the hateful comments. Just be sure you're strong enough to deal with them. And never let haters think they managed to get what they wanted. 

 

I kinda of agree, but not completely. Not everyone has a mental health good enough to be that strong.

maybe because she's not really into all that? and what's the correlation between PS and her personal struggles? she was never the one whose physical features are mocked by public

as often as i read these kind of comments it's like "God Celebrities are fucking whiny you've got everything and yet you still whine more problems?  You're not regular citizens like us with many daily problems" mentalities around Pann

 

or basically they don't want Celebrities to feel bad about themselves although the way and word they used to express it are very off putting

as if hateful comments are the only hard part of being an idol or the hardest.... why are people so stupid seriously, and she didn't say "i don't want to be an idol" she literally just said she doesn't want her children to have her voice

I understand that. But I just wish to highlight the difference to some readers here in case they take it as 'Taeyeon is hated' again.

 

Even when the instiz post was posted on weibo, fans/readers sympathised with Taeyeon but yet the comments translated into english is the Pann's one. Can't believe Koreaboo actually translated the more positive article this time around...
