Frauke Petry, head of the eurosceptic Alternativ fuer Deutschland (AfD) party, told a regional newspaper: "I don't want this either. But the use of armed force is there as a last resort." Her comments were condemned by leftwing parties and by the German police union. More than 1.1 million migrants arrived in Germany last year. She told a conference of her centre-right CDU party that tougher measures adopted last week should reduce the influx of migrants, but a European solution was still needed. Police must stop migrants crossing illegally from Austria, Ms Petry told the Mannheimer Morgen newspaper (in German), and "if necessary" use firearms. If they are trying to enter the country ILLEGALLY and are FIGHTING and HARMING the police/border force then why shouldn't they be shot? its like in any country, if you try to harm the police they will harm you back, why should we bend the laws for migrants just because the EU fucked up about its open door policy and now the government has realised what theyve done and are now refusing to let them in. Why is it inhumane? If you read news articles and videos then you will see that the migrants are actually fighting the police trying to get in. If they are trying to illegally enter a country and are fighting the police then they should be shot, why are they to bend the rules for them? Can the migrants not seek asylum in Austria? loves 2,287 Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 She told a conference of her centre-right CDU she is AfD not CDU and wayyyyy more right than centre. basically the next NPD tbh, they really do talk shit all day.... they are only getting attention right now because people want to show that they are frustrated and afraid and are not satisfied with the current political situation (the state of the coalition, Seehofer being how he is OTL, there no being a clear political line at the moment...) I don't belive people would really vote for them if there were elections right now and even if they do, and they really get elected in some of the next Landtagswahlen in March they then have to really finally do sth and work on the reality of the current situation and not just going on screaming extrems to get attention, and then it will be fast over with some people believs that it would be better if such people had real political power and that they have the solutions... cause they don't have any in the end....
