PRODUCE 101 Hong Kong Slay Ng Sze Kai

So SHIN (Ng Sze Kai) from Hong Kong girl group AS ONE is on "Produce 101" now

(her company made her I think)

I was really worried about her since Hong Kong has no trainee system

But she slayed her performance (singing, dancing & rap) and the judges loved her

I hope she makes it because she is genuinely a nice girl (she has the best reactions to all the other girls' performances) and a total happy virus (weird & 4d when dealing with chicken on "Produce 101")

I'm glad K-netz seem to like her too because back then she got bashed when she had a selfie with GOT7's Jackson, she got a lot of hate even though they are both from Hong Kong and are friends. SIGHS jealous people online are scary.

I mean she is also a Melody so BONUS BROWNIE POINTs!!! (1:55 for SHIN BtoB moments)

When she and her group went to BtoB concert

Her group did promote in Korea?

How on eart I can remember this?

by the way, she already adopted "Korean" nose. This fashion should just stay in Korea, better gone from this earth for good.

Doesn't have training system doesn' equate to no training though. Her label might have sent its singers out to dance/ music school(s).

She is Chinese from Hong Kong. She is/was from a Cpop group called As One

As someone who knows Cantonese this is so weird to watch.

The MV screams kpop. The only difference is the language.

I wish Hong Kong would do something different with their groups (even though groups are not that popular in Hong Kong). I don't want to see kpop copycats.

they looked so sour at the beginning

all of them have such bitch rest faces when they think someone won't be good and then they just bloomed into smiles

good good

she is cute

how many episodes are out?

2 eps are out

n yes shin is one of the few who is always smiling appreciatively in all performances instead of resting bitch face

It's cos the mv was filmed in korea and written by the producer of GFRIEND.

I honestly think their company screwed AS ONE over. They had so much potential and was really cantopop in the early days.

Actually it felt more like a special stage. I know it's called their Korean debut but they didn't promote the song too much in Korea :/

I think As One are a Kpop inspired group. Yeah this and one of their other songs are more Kpop-ish which differed from their other release.

Although tbh As One are starting to promote in Korea now. Also as the other poster said, the MV was filmed in Korea and was made by the same Producer who did GFriend's songs.

I guess it's more of a "network" problem. Even domestic groups don't have s chance to perform in a music show.

There is also that Taiwanese boy group "Timez" that did debut in Korea and barely known.
