Every BF player knows that multiplayer is where it's at and the singleplayer campaigns are always hackneyed cliched nonsense. I'd like to see an America vs somewhere FPS where the other country used actual insurgent tactics instead of just a completely equivalent fighting force with the same amount of helicopters, jeeps etc. If you play the US you have to deal with IEDs, ambushes and a largely hidden enemy - and if you play the other guys you're all on foot or in 25 year old Mitsubishis in plain clothes and spend most of your time running and hiding from the war machine or making explosives out of supermarket products. How about an FPS where they take a seat. Or f up the story line, and NATO goes against each other. There's no set storyline, pick a nation/faction and do what you can to win for them, so the ending is different. Never cared for the story in any fps i've played. It never has an effect on the gameplay anyways. Does who i'm fighting or the reason for the fighting matter if all i'm going is moving check point to checkpoint shooting people in the face? Not really so it still all feels the same.
