Zayn dominates at #1 on US iTunes with Pillowtalk; BBH100 #1 debut possible

Zayn Malik is dominating US iTunes, holding steadily at #1 and outselling his nearest competition, Rihanna, by a factor of 50%. 

 

 

 

With the #2 song, Work selling 40,000 copies a day and Zayn's debut solo single, "Pillowtalk" selling over 88,000 copies a day - the fight for the Billboard Hot 100's number one spot is looking increasingly a fight between boys, and a three way fight at the very least. 

 

 

 

His competition? Bieber's "Love Yourself" whic has been estimated to have moved an estimated 125,000 copies on iTunes, Rihanna's "Work" which has, moved 119,000 copies on iTunes, twentyone pilot's "Stressed Out", which has moved 122,000 copies. 

 

 

 

With 88,000 copies sold on opening day, and with more than a week to go in his tracking week, the former One Direction crooner is quite possibly eyeing a #1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

I'm excited to hear what the other songs on the album will sound like honestly. When he came out with I Won't Mind I became interested in him a bit and what he would come out with next.

Pillow Talk isn't a song I would typically listen to but I'm glad it's doing well~
