Girls/women, do you like your voice? Have you ever tried to change it?

I hate my voice so much. It always sounds almost melodious. I'm naturally soft spoken. So whatever I say, it doesn't reflect my emotions at all. Its annoying because some people don't seem to take me seriously, when I'm in my early 20's. Even teenagers and children see me as "one of them" which irritates me.

Also, when I try to deepen my voice or speak louder, I sound rude or somehow angry. I can't actually be a very loud, gutsy person, because I'm afraid of looking arrogant. No matter how hard I try to sound serious and assertive, I can't seem to get rid of the cute image. I think this has to do a lot with how I look, and unfortunately, I can't change that without surgery.

Do you like your voice?

If you don't, have you ever tried changing it in certain situations?

There is a French singer called "Melissa Mars", and she also hated her voice. Sho took singing lessons in order to change it and now she's ok with it. I did not know you could change your voice with singing lessons, but I think it's interesting. Maybe you could try this ?

I sing to myself in the shower sometimes, if that counts lol.

Maybe I could consider rock/metal songs?

Haha I don't know if it counts as singing lessons   I think the teacher might teach you some serious stuff about controlling your voice, etc... But I can't tell you how it works and if it's really efficient...

no, I sound like a little girl talking and when I'm excited it's worst

When I order food and they hear my voice they say "can i talk with your parents instead"

That sounds painful  :._.:

I hate it. It makes people be confused about my age. I'm 19 but they say I sound like  14 or less. It's just too childish like.

Yeah I get worried about sounding childish too, maybe that's also why I try to be solemn all the time lol.

At first, i was fine with my voice, but then, i recorded, it sounds like a 5 years old girl..

Cute, but sometimes sounds annoying..

this is exactly what happened to me, this is why I don't like to talk at all and the worst part people in my school like to made fun of my voice

I'm really soft spoken and have a voice that people usually call things like cute and adorable, but all I want from life is to sound more mature and even sexy, I can't seem to achieve that no matter how hard I try :( especially with my accent and all that, I always get called cutie and little and so on, even by people younger than me and that kind of angers me hah I guess most people are never happy with what they have
