[+3,086, -53] I got goosebumps at Yoo Seung Ho's acting in the part where he's waiting for is father~ 4. [+2,017, -37] Writer-nim, please stop doing this to Jin Woo.. 5. [+1,529, -42] I feel so bad for Yoo Seung Hoã… ã… 6. [+548, -8] The 'Son' in the 'War of the Son' isn't only about Seo Jin Woo but also Park Dong Ho 7. [+489, -12] I thought he was heading towards Ina when he was sprinting along the pedestrian overpass 8. [+1,069, -60] It was heartbreaking when Park Min Young cried her eyes out in yesterday's episode ã… ã… This drama has no acting hole but the writer should stop being frustrating 3. [+203, -5] Even if Namgoong Min is sentenced to death and Jin Woo wins all his cases, he is the most pitiful character because he lost his memory and family.. What a frustrating drama in this frustrating society 4. [+167, -6] The first few episodes were really good 5. [+164, -11] Can't help but compare it to cable dramas. Why can't the writer just move on without tormenting the main character? You guys said this is realistic?? Then why else would you watch it? You're better off watching documentaries or news. Honestly, watching dramas is a way of escaping bitter reality but what if a drama ends up being more bitter? Seems like they used 'Veteran' as a benchmark but do you know why that movie is a hit? Because the main characters never let themselves suffer but rather, they cooly put up a fight. The writer's good at drawing empathy from viewers but his skills are subpar. I'm guessing they mean how suffocating the plot is, because potato are dry and when you eat it, it get stuck in your chest and doesn't go down easily, making you suffocate. Another commenter brought up cider (soda/ carbonated drink) further emphasize that there is not enough drink so that you can more easily swallow the potato, which is a metaphor for not having enough good things going on in the drama to make up for the sufferings Jinwoo is going through.
