Bright is disbanding soon. And no they were never popular...actually its one of the reasons why they are disbanding. Since they weren't popular they don't even have a large fanbase in Japan let alone an international one. As for 1 competition I think that would be AKB48. These girls get to sell over a million copies with each single. I feel sorry Bright has to disband because they are a really talented girlgroup. All members have amazing vocal qualities and can sing well on their own....but...they are disbanding :sad:  :sad:

that's a shame because dnw48 sucks in musical talent compared to BRIGHT?? i love their singing and i could listen to their songs all day~

I've known BRIGHT since like 2009-10, and just recently started to actually GET INTO them. (meaning get to know their personalities and all). It hurts me to known that they're disbanding, and it kills me that people are blaming this on Nanaka.

 

BRIGHT actually got me through one of the worst things I've experienced in my life, and it was because of their music that I'm strong. I normally just listen to their songs, and sing (even though I can't I try) their songs everyday. I even made my own dance to some of their upbeat songs! But anyway, Bright are like really inspirational to me, and it makes me upset that avex couldn't promote them properly. I'm 100% sure if avex would've given Bright world tours and released their music internationally, Bright would've been one of the groups making them a ton of money. Maybe Japan does not have to appreciate the amazing talent of Bright, but the rest of the world can. If been on so many blogs and social networking sites where they talk about Bright's disbandment, and they ALL have said that this decision was just so sad and heartbreakening. Old fans, new fans, and even people who just heard one song by them have said Bright had so much potential and talent, and it kills them to know that Bright won't be active anymore.

 

Even though Bright may not perform as four, their spirit will always linger on in all of our hearts. I hope all four of them continue on with a musical career or something. I'm just really sad about this. :(

So guess what when I was looking at my twitter feed I realized BRIGHT had closed their twitter accounts :sad:  :sad:  :sad: Will they be making new ones????   

Also after extensive internet digging I found this Ameba blog which belongs to Nanaka's but she only has two posts. Last one she made was on Feb.4.2013....hopefully she starts using it since she along with BRIGHT deactivated their twitters.

The members expressed their thoughts that led to their decision to disband, and apologized to fans for the sudden announcement.

 

Leader NAGI (22) commented that the girls "Spent more time together than with our families" and how often they would practice. Even before they were a group, they knew each other well and were friends.

 

MIMI (22) explained "The members will continue on their new paths, we won't stop" and thanked fans for the support throughout the years.

 

MEG (21) thanked their fans as well, and said she hopes that fans can send them off well at the final live. "Starting BRIGHT felt natural," she added, and they grew as a family, but they felt as though something was missing in their lives.

 

NANAKA (20) stated that in good and bad ways, perhaps the members have gotten too used to each other, and that it's time for the members to grow and move to new chapters in their lives.

 

On January 4th, the group returned to their hometown of Kansai and thought deeply about the decision to dissolve the group. They decided “the 4 of us should take a step away from BRIGHT.†The quartet thanked their fans for the love and support throughout all the years, for buying their albums, coming to watch their shows, and for allowing BRIGHT the chance to bring their music to listeners, and apologized for their decision. The girls enjoyed the time they had together as a group, but now feel it's time to move on to the next chapter of their young lives.

Yeah me too, and the thing that makes it harder for me to understand why is because Bright had lots of talent. Like I would've understood if it was some talentless group but them...   :sad:  :sad: ...I blame Avex and their bad promo skills    Now all that is left to do is wait for their future endeavors.

Definitely. They are so good live...what bugs me the most is that I discovered them not too long ago and now they disband.

Yeah it really is, and the worst part is they all deleted their twitters so fans don't have contact with individual members anymore
