The group consists of "main dancers" and "back vocalists", meaning that the vocalists stand behind the dancers during the band's performances. Bullet Train has been likened to Momoiro Clover Z, a girl group managed by the same talent agency. The group is also described as "Non-idols" (éžã‚¢ã‚¤ãƒ‰ãƒ« Hi Aidoru).
