I think it's from Me Gustas Tu or maybe UP & DOWN.

It's true that voting system changes?

yeah for the official top 11, will be only 1 vote per day.

Crazy, right? Mnet is unbeliavable. This will kill chance of 736722 members of the same agency.

I vote with 3 accounts so i have create more 2 to vote everyday for each one of my faves.

Mess

Yoojung have a big fanbase too so that's all good  :dave:

Her fandom is big, so I don't worry.  :dave:  I think I will make second account to vote for Doyeon, since they seem to be good friends and this baby needs support from someone she knows well.  :rlytearpls:

doyeon only needs more screentime to grow her fandom. i didn't think of this but i'll create another one to vote for her too!

I didn't know Yoojung fan base is that big. Lol I am happy she is no.1 in Bang Bang team. :)

She was trending with 2 hashtags on twitter and she is no. 3 on support event, so I guess it's okay to assume her fandom is big.  :)

What I dislike about Yoojung in the same team with Somi is the youtube comments is overflooded with somi fans blabbered on and on. lol, hard to find Yoojung fans comment in the top comments.  yeah I know she has huge intl fans... hahaha,,,,  and I can figured out, if the final top 11 and the group debuted the somi fnas will bark more, like she is the only one in the group. lol,,, I dont like it... hahaha

Anyway, the group will only last 1 year.. I wish she debut with the rest of fantagio girls later. (if Pledis girls can't debut together I'll be a kinda sad too TT)

The smart think Fantagio could do is debut their girl group right away after produce 101 group end promotions. She have a big fanbase already that's crazy. And Doyeon have a good chance to debut together !! I have to do another account for her as well.

her korean fanbase is quite big. i think her korean fanbase is bigger than intl one so maybe that's why you didn't notice?

I guess that is it. Everytime I search "Choi Yoojung" there is not a lot of update of her like "최유정"

Yesterday (Friday), she has 3 trends on Twitter in Korea. It was amazing.

This is one reason why I was shocked about Yoojung's fanbase in Korea. Most of the comments in Bang Bang or Produce 101 videos are Somi. :)

HI guys! Just came here for some Naver updates because I'm tired of the downvotes when I say things on Somi and Yoojung in main thread

So Yoojung's video has passed 800 000 views and 6 000 likes. Bang bang overall has almost reached 800 000 views and passed 6 000K likes. Let's go for the million!

I'd say that Yoojung simply isn't as popular in the i-fandom than she is in the k-fandom. Just like Doyeon is close to ignored in i-fandom but has a lot of fans in the k-fandom. Different demography, different interests. It's not really Somi's fault or Yoojungs. Also, Somi is known in the i-fandom (sixteen) and Yoojung is new. The comments will eventually even out. At first there were a lot of comments for Dani, DIA Girls, Chanmi, but many other names are popping out. As it goes you will see Yoojung's name more often!

Yoojung's fanbase in Korea is HUGE compared to the her international fanbase. Just compare the number of views on her Bang Bang fancam on Youtube (180k, lots of other fancams have similar viewcounts) vs. Naver (800k, easily 2nd most viewed) to get an idea.

It's interesting because I think the reason why there isn't as much international chatter for Yoojung is because a lot of her "stan-attractor" charms fly under the radar for I-fans simply because most are not fluent in Korean.

For example, the way Yoojung speaks is very unique, and K-fans often comment things like "Yoojung's speech mannerisms are sooo cute ã… ã… " on social media. In fact, just the way she said "I'm okay" after she tripped during episode 1 was different than the way someone would normally say it in Korean, and many viewers thought that it was adorable. Since that kind of difference in speech cannot be translated with subtitles, I-fans really are missing out on one of Yoojung's 'charms'. For a native Korean speaker, it's obvious that these unique mannerisms are natural and not "forced aegyo" and it adds to Yoojung's title as the trainee who is effortlessly adorable. K-fans are quite averse to idols who fake their cuteness so they find Yoojung's natural cuteness a work of art lol

Also, Yoojung's genuinely kind soul is harder to pick up if you're an I-fan. Though many can tell Yoojung's a nice kid in general, there's absolutely no doubt for native Koreans that this girl's niceness is totally ingrained into her being. For example, during the hidden camera Yoojung stayed on the line and said "Goodbye, I'll hang up now" when the rest of the trainees simply hung up or yelled something like "You're terrible!!" into their phones. It was hilarious that Yoojung even bothered to say something so formal while hanging up and it shows that Yoojung's politeness and consideration for others is practically a reflex. A small detail like that would probably go over many I-fans heads while it'd be super obvious to any K-fan.

In general, Yoojung also hits a lot of Korean 'appeal' points (genuine kindness, candidly cute, funny reaction faces), the biggest being her "gap moe", for lack of a better term. She's the ideal cinnamon roll offstage and incredibly charismatic and confident onstage. Usually shy idols are lacking in stage presence and confident idols have more blunt personalities, so Yoojung is 'the best of both worlds' for K-fans because she is a candid, adorable baby who transforms into a true performer when need be. And for Yoojung, neither side of her personality is forced, as she is cute without trying and she genuinely loves performing.

I hope this sheds some light on why Yoojung gets a lot more attention from K-fans, from someone who is a native Korean speaker (and who has lost a lot of fluency over the years lol)

omg thank you so much for posting this

I've always found yoojung incredibly charming and unique but it seemed like a lot of i-fans just didn't quite see it and I've never known how to explain it, but this explains it perfectly :) she's seriously a special one

The way she's a total badass on stage will get her a lot of international fans, her personality and looks arent exactly what attracts international stans but her stage presence does. I can totally feel her international fanbase growing fast everytime a performance happens
