I think some of the netizens aren't really familiar with how the covers are being released so far... it is a 30 seconds cover, not a whole song.

And really is such a honor that a song composed by Taehyun will be covered by GD

 

That being said, it is true that  big bang are used since forever to promote the rookies of the company.  I hope they don't mind it much
