ONE OK ROCK = A Boy Band?

They used to be a legit indie band. I should know. I was a fan from their FIRST release (I was really excited partly because I was a NEWS fan and was so intrigued what's up with Moriuchi - yeah we used to call him that).

But they're an idol rock band now, let's admit it...still their music is very good.

I'm also following the rock band of another ex-NEWS member Kusano :)

Then you might as well call Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, and all those pop punk bands with a large female following boy bands too lol. My Chemical Romance would be a boy band too. Put a bunch of attractive guys together and therell be a large female follwing basically

Don't forget the 80's hair/glam metal/rock bands like Skid Row or Bon Jovi.

People say that Johnny's are feminine but those 80s hair metal guys would give them a run for their money. Poison straight up looked like women lol

So true. XD lol If OOR is a boy band for their number of female fans; then what's that make Poison with their legions of fangirls/groupies?

That said, I love Poison even though I'm a guy, myself. Their song "Sacrifice" was my jam growing up thanks to my parents and family.

I gave "Wherever You Are" a 4/10 on Arama and I was called a trashy gay with a bad personality and a scumbag who should suck. This is confirmation via their fans that they are in fact a boyband. Even the most rapid Arashi fans there don't do this shit.

Sounds like the rudeness and aggressiveness of boyband fans...

Lol ya'll candown vote all you want but it's true. I was heavy into those emo/pop punk bands and the fans really aren't any different than boy band fans. They ship the members, write fanfics, and are very possessive over the band members. Like all the "real" rock fans would complain about how those bands were all a bunch of gay sissies because their fans were mostly teenage girls. I don't think those bands are boy bands though, since they're not manufactured and write their own music. Most of them are really talented musicians and songwriters too. (Not saying boy bands don't have talent but whatev)Their fans really arent much different than 5D or whatever. I mean back in the day My Chemical Romance even made it to #1 on TRL (yep, showing my age right now...do kids nowadays even know what that is? Lol)

I believe, that the only difference is a structures. Fangirls can be to almost everything. I also not a fan of OOR, but at least they know their audience.
