I'd also tell them to not take everything so seriously no matter what it is. Because at the end of the day, it's just idol music. Don't make it your life. Still focus on your studies, job, whatever because K-pop is really easy to get sucked into. Try to keep an open mind, don't be too sensitive, don't try to think of everything from your point of view culturally. It is a different cultural thus certain things mean different things. Don't dismiss other groups at all, you don't have to like the music of your bias only. Also, get in invested in K music as a whole, try different genres. 4. Don't put kpop first, keep it as your source of stress relief and to that end. 5. Your going to learn alot about and be exposed to Korean culture, please do so keeping in mind the limitations as an international fan and the concept of generalisation.
