Baby Don't Cry 5,451 Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 In 2009, after 21 volumes, Ai Yazawa put NANA on hiatus due to an illness. Until today she didn't start any new series nor it's clear if she will ever finish NANA. Fans still have hope because she released a NANA calender last November with new drawings and a mini-comic. I recently found my old Nana mangas, started to re-read the series and remembered how much I love the story. If she doesn't want to finish the manga, then I hope she will release a statement about how the Manga will end, because there're still soooo many questions left. NANA had me in my feels and im the type of person who DOES NOT AT ALL like normal anime...I DO NOT.. if it's not supernatural I will not watch it..,. I will not read it.. I will avoid it. But later, I ended up watching the NANA anime on... well, I don't remember where. Hulu, maybe? lol I saw the movie too, but found it boring... male:ko 1,461 Posted January 30, 2016 Share Posted January 30, 2016 I really loved this manga but I think in the last volumes she lost it, the story doesn't go anywhere and I read in somewhere, I don't remember where but in one interview Yazawa said that she dislikes Nana (manga) that's why there isn't more chapter I think, besides she was ill too. For some reason, I don't plan on reading this just yet.....maybe in the next few months. I remember trying to read it when I was in my pre-teens (13 or so) and I thought it was boring since I couldn't really understand the essence of the story.
