Heart and Seoul 1,218 Posted January 25, 2016 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Aww I don't think they were trying to outdo each other lol, Jessica's note was a little higher than it was in the studio version (which is understandable her doing it louder cause you're in a big arena and you want to make sure it gets heard haha) and that may have surprised Taeyeon so she looked away to focus on getting her own note okay. Or it could even have been Taeyeon looking away like "yes! I got that part out okay" because if you listen to her after it sounds like her voice is quite tired. Tiffany even promoted Jessica during the red carpet interview... that's why it came as such a shock to those of us who were there because literally a month earlier, they were all getting along. What u can't see is that Jessica actually got emotional during the singing of ITNW acapella and left the stage for a moment.
