good software to edit gif

I do recommend Photoshop if you're able to get it.

Photoshop's  probably the best, most of the free editing software that actually even let you work with gifs have really stupid limits to what you can do with them.

This is probably the easiest way to get Photoshop if you're interested

cough I don't think we're supposed to link stuff like that.

:._.: ... i was just linking a video from a thread that's been up... since day 1 here on OH. I'll take it off though I guess.

Oh, then I guess that's something that the mods would need to clear. They don't allow any other links posted on here that lead to downloadable content so I figure it'd be the same for video.

i've tried gimp ((damn complicated)) unless you get used to it. and the best for me it'd be photoshop starting cs3 and ups! ah... it's very expensive if u buy the ori one hm just download it from photoshop blog..

Photoshop. It's easiest especially since you're just able to import videos for their frames. But I mean if you just want it simple and such, there are plenty of sites that do video to gif or photos to gif.

Free online gif maker sites (no downloading required):

photoshop will make the best quality gifs. Other softwares don't compare. But it's pricey as hell. There are links everywhere on the internet where you can download it for free. you just got to have patient to find the right link.

The best free one is gimp. It's pretty similar to photoshop without the huge price tag. the quality isn't that good and you need another program to take screencaps like the kmplayer.
