Any other girls that vomit on their periods?

Is it a common thing? Does it happen to you too?

It happens to me almost every first day of my period. Not so long ago I used to have pains in the anus (I know, I have some really weird menstrual problems) and they were really bad but now they tamed down. But I still have this annoying vomiting problem.

Once, I was in school and felt like vomiting in the middle of the class, but thanks God I was strong enough to keep it until I reached the bathroom.

Usually, it goes away with the right medication, but I really hate it. You never know when the nausea hits you and need to run to the nearest bathroom.

It happened to me a couple times. My periods just hurt so much that I decided to take birth control. It's a lot less worse now. I also used to get hellish cramps in one of my thighs and I wouldn't be able to move my leg because it just hurt so much. Don't worry everyone has different menstrual pains it's not weird. Maybe tmi but my entire 'lower regions' used to be throbbing with pain so... :imstupid:  You're not the weird one

Edit: I also nearly fainted a couple times

Yes I vomit during my periods... I went to the doctor and they said it's normal. I get fever too  :rlytearpls:

Nasty cramps + vomiting + fever + freaking sensitive skin... That's why I hate it when people are being skeptical about me experiencing those kind of things... Like wtf

Indont experience that but i usually get dysmenorrhea instead. Its much painful cause i m bed ridden or have to push my self to walk.

Vomitting happens to others so its normal. If you wantbto drink meds you can but dont rely on it too much or you'll become dependent. Try drinking warm water to relieve your nauseated feelings.

I have never heard of such thing, but it sounds awful as hell. Makes me feel blessed for always having painless and 100% problem-free PMS. Sometimes I feel like a unicorn though, cause it seems so rare.

Same

I never have cramp before and had no idea how bad it can get until I start college and live with other girls. The only difference is my increased appetite. Sometime I feel compelled to lie when a group of girls start complaining about period pains and I feel like such a freak for not understand any of it, and also bc I get side eye a lot too.

I don't vomit, but I have horrible crippling pains. I have to take a minimum of 800mg, sometimes more, of Aspirin just to be able to function normally throughout the day. If I don't, literally every second is insufferable pain. My mom was apparently way worse than me, and she says she vomited all the time when she used to have it. Thankfully the pain is only ever on the first day, and the rest of the week I'm fine.

i dont get it with every period but every three periods maybe I experience fever, chills, fatigue/dizziness, and vomitting. It's like hell. I barely get cramps maybe that's why?

Edit: OP, are the pains on your anus like tailbone spasms? I used to get those but I haven't had them in a while.

My friend literally vomits for 2 days straight and she has really bad period that she has to stay home for at least 2-3days.

As for me, I have a increase of appetite and also have horrible back aches. I usually take 500g Baralgin or 2 Liquid Gel Advils for the back pain, but taking those make me vomit so I try to bare with back pain to avoid vomiting.

  • 1 month later...

Many women suffer from nausea during their period and some actually have vomiting as well as constipation or diarrhea. The menstrual cycle is different for every woman so don’t expect this information to be exactly everyone’s experience. I used to see this problem with my friends. On the first day of her period she used to vomit by the use of tampons or sanitary napkins. For that she consulted a doctor and she has been told to skip pills and do exercise to feel fresh. Doctor also suggested her to go for menstrual cup like coupe menstruelle économique so that she will not face any smell issues. My friend had a great experience using menstrual cup.
