omg you know why? i never got why some parts were unsubbed it gets me so mad!!

What do you mean by you know why?  You mean what happens during the unsubbed parts or I know why some parts were left unsubbed.  I know the sooner, not the later, but I'm guessing it's because the broadcast itself had problems and that was why some of the parts in the unsubbed version played like three times.

You don't miss much through the unsubbed parts though.  It's just Haitai meets Ae Jeong (his first love) again.  And Chil Bong and Na Jung spends after New Year's Eve together, although technically it was meant to be the whole group, because it's the New Year before the Millenium.  And Chil Bong pretty much asks Na Jung what she was going to do the next day (i.e He may have asked her on a date.)

ok i realllly disliked ep 18 it was sooooo boring!!! i skipped most of it  :donthinkso:

but i looooved ep 19  :ahmagah:  :ahmagah:

it was the complete opposite for me. after the city phone thing finally was over with (way over the top to the point of being unfunny), the episode went through many years and so many things changed and developed in a short amount of time.

then in episode 19 we got more of the same childbong making awkward decisions due to his feelings for najung aand

sunggyun being annoying and not seeming to have learned anything about yoonjin despite dating her for over 5 years.

it felt like not much happened in 19 outside of the same love triangle that's been perpetuated through through the whole show thus far.

I think that Trash still has a chance...I root for Chilbong but now it's Trash who look so pathetic and people might go "awww, poor him". And I think we will have either a twist and Na Jeong goes back to Trash or Chilbong finally manage to date and marry Na jeong

I want to know so baaad the ending but at the same time I don't want the drama to end  :._.:

Lmao the end of ep 19. writters trolling with us until the very end...

but remember how baby Joon's girlfriend said in 2013 how his brother in law is famous... except if Trash found a cure to cancer, Chil Bong is the husband  :la:  :la:  :la: he was so great in this week episodes... it was so obvious he faked for the driving licence but so cute... him and Najung are really made for each others... I lost it at the scene with the Jurassic Park bakery  :chu:

The thing about SCP is that he was INCREDIBLY realistic these couple of episodes. In reality, guys are often incredibly dense when it comes to stuff like weddings and the future. Add in the fact that SCP has always been dense overall and it really did make complete sense that he didnt pick up on what Yoojin wanted. You gotta take dramatic license and assume that it never came up with them.

I also do think that SCP had everything planned soon after but was waiting for the right moment to spring it on Yoo Jin and the proposal was very well done by the writers.

If anything, SCP/YJ is by far the most developed and realistic component this show has to offer and I find myself way more invested in their scenes than I do in the triangle and the stupid fanwars between team "OMG HES SO CUTE I WISH I HAD AN OPPA LIKE HIM" and Team "OMG HE LOOKS SO HOT WITH NO SHIRT ON" and their continuous bashing of Na Jung for just being a normal human being.

*spoilers*

nice spoiler tag, dude.

you really saved anybody who clicked this thread hoping to find a link for engsubbed ep20 from being exposed to ending spoilers.

*edit: kekeke thanks for reacting so quickly~~ ^-^

anyway, my impressions of the first two parts of 20 (because i have so much to say about them):

chilbong is way to transparent at this point. it's painful to watch not because of how well written it is but how he's regressed as a character. he basically "whatevers" anything that doesn't have to do with najung, and anything concerning najung is "let's have a meal together." -_-

anyway, what's REALLY pissing me off is exactly what eyesonyu brought up: trash doing nothing. so basically, the show is now revealing to me how heartbreaking it was for trash to pretend everything was always okay when it actually always sucked, and how awful it was for him to have to be sorry all the time... but... is it just me or is it more infuriating that najung can never get any actual information (let alone reliable information) from him when he always refuses with a "stop worrying. you're worrying too much." have you ever stopped and thought about it? i bet najung is always worrying because you never tell her shit and "it's fine" and "i'm sorry" have completely lost meaning with the amount of times you've said them. holy shit, he really has done absolutely nothing for the relationship and somehow we're supposed to be sympathizing with him right now. i can't.

what is this..i can do better photoshopping than this. SERIOUSLY.. I CANT..im so trying hard to grasp the ending.

one thing im most disappointed about is how they gave chilbong, one of the best characters in the drama, the worst ending. the ending totally did not fit his character. and the girl who resembles Na jung and is possibly CB's wife. Ok im happy that they even thought of giving him a girl, but really, where's the story??? B and HT got theirs. Where's CB's????? :((( this is so sad..did they suddenly change the writer or whaaaaaaaaat.

episode 20 complete impressions:

w . t . f

wtf was chilbong doing. like, i get what he was doing, but it was really just insane and not like him as he had been written previously. it was like a regular krama's ridiculous plotline. :l

at least he painfully figured things out and ended shit... but then there goes an awful lot of the runtime of this series right out the window. and the lie + discharging were way over the top and totally unnecessary. i guess they make sense because chilbong doesn't like to be confrontational, but it's still kind of dramatic and got him hurt a little bit from najung's revenge, lol.

also, wtf with trash, too. probably the biggest WTF. he's a doctor, and apparently quite a good one. he of all people should know that you take frickin medicine. i'm extremely pissed because even if he's somehow "never been sick before," he's still a doctor who handles sick and injured patients all the time (which... really doesn't make sense how he hasn't gotten sick before when you consider his lifestyle). there've been a few articles in the news lately about people dying of easily treatable illnesses not because of lack of resources but because they think that they're somehow above medicine. trash's sickness gives me the same impression.

last, this was highlighted in the preview, but assuming that najung ends up with trash (because there are no other options left and i don't know what the writers were thinking when they dragged the tired plot device of guessing the husband on for 20 episodes), then basically every married couple on the show now are first love couples. najung+trash, yoonjin+sunggyun, haitai+aejung, bing+daidai. the fact that they're so openly admitting that all these couples are first love couples... i think they're trying to make it seem quaint, but actually it's just shitty writing.

It seems a little lazy to me that everyone ended up with their first love. I understand that it's a drama, but it would be nice if there were some real life experiences thrown in there. Make ups, break ups, meeting new people, doing new things. I'll finish the drama at a later point.

well, the end of the last episode was really good, once we got the world cup and a return to the heart of the show... which imo the last time we saw was back in ep 5 or 6. really feels like we had 15 episodes of nothing, though, with all the husband bull.

I'm on the fence about whether or not it's gonna be Chilbongi, but I'm fairly certain it won't be Trash. Put me down for 50k on it not being Trash lol

I will take that offer and bet 50k myself that either Chilbong or HaeTae will be NJ's husband. How many episodes usually show a week?

T_T

Sigh. Pay up bitches.

I wish it wasn't like this.
