still not liking trash and najung (ep 14 spoilers:)

and oh my god those scenes with chilbong. he was so amazing and it's starting to seem like she knows it. ugh when yoonjin revealed that najung and trash had kissed and najung's face was like OH SHIT NO I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT CHILBONG -- the feels, man!

though the subs i read something like "her first and last kiss will both be trash oppa!" i think were mistranslated using the wrong pronouns (should be "he" not "she"). she was looking at bing and also the fact that she mentioned najung kissing trash later as if it was a new thing makes me think that the subber was translating without considering the context.

bing's brother is extremely adorable and seems like a pretty good actor, too.

you might want to edit your quote because my entire post is showing up without the spoiler tag.

idk, i just do <spoiler>blahblahblah</spoiler> but with [] instead of <>

if you're having trouble, try clicking the little lightswitch icon in the top left to switch into html mode to do manual tagging. sometimes there are tags/coding you can't see in the graphical interface mode that get in the way of tags working properly, but if you view the html code you can clearly see any additional coding.

ep 15 impressions:

super pissed at trash x najung. "living like this is fine!" you say, despite lecturing najung and other's on not living perfect lives. THEN SHE FUCKING TAKES IT UPON HERSELF TO CLEAN IT and he just smokes a cigarette. i get that she was too pissed to have him around, but honestly he could really do ANYTHING else, even just sit there with no cigarette.

then they get back home, she's exhausted, and he's like "WAT ARE U NOT TAKING CARE OF UR BACK IDGI." :l

plus the part on the phone with the "my heart is as wide as the pacific ocean" bullshit. so many levels of unacceptable.

also dat "japanese" guy who came to tell chilbong about the welcome party. he is like the most obviously-not-japanese guy i have ever seen in a kdrama. XD his japanese pronunciation was awful and his relaxed aloofness was very unjapanese. if they couldn't get a japanese guy they should have just pretended he was the translator and had him speak korean. at least we got to hear chilbong try to speak japanese from all this. just a word, but <3

as much as the show is trying to paint chilbong as a very likely end-game husband to increase the amount of drama,

look at trash's apartment near the end. it's the same apartment used in the 2013 scenes, albeit the furniture is slightly changed. i was trying to figure out if trash in his suit was from 2013 or 1996 and i noticed that it's the same room.

you can see in the teaser for next week's episode, trash is going away somewhere. and i'm pretty sure chilbong is gonna comeback at that time and then they will date...

and i think haitai is out of the picture sorry guys  -_-

chilbong just breaks my heart man  :horror:

ok I catched up and I must say I hope she doesn't end up with trash, since it would be too similar to last season specially if also binggrae turns out to be gay it would be exactly as last season, anyways right now I don't see haitai having a lot of chances but you never know team chilbong and haitai still

but weren't they having a housewarming party in the 2013 scenes which means najeong and husband just moved...?

I don't think I have much hope left that it will be Chil Bong, but then I think why would they have Trash and Najung end up together so early if it wasn't Chil Bong...

Did anyone notice the line when Sam Cheon Po said 'How is it unusual for there to be a baseball in this house?'  And when Trash said "I'm sure there would be a bat somewhere.'  I just feel it then clicks that maybe Chil Bong is the husband because of that.  Also the fact that shouldn't Trash know if there was a bat if it was his house?

My thoughts on Ep 15 (and the show overall):

I really am scared that this show is going to go the same direction that School 2013 went. School 2013 was AMAZING for the first 10 episodes or so. The show was well-written, had multiple main characters that you actually cared about, and a good plotline about bullying and how school went.

Then the bromance happened...

As charismatic as LJS/KWB were, they ate up and, IMO, destroyed the core of the show. It became too much about the bromance. They waited too long to develop other characters (hell, one episode was pretty much ONLY about the bromance). The producers obviously caved in to the whims of the audience and, in the end, you had an ending that didn't answer a lot of questions and a reunion show with the entire cast but with 90% of the questions to LJS/KWB (who weren't even the main leads).

I fear that happening with Na Jung/Trash/Chilbong. It's not good that the most developed characters in the show are Yoo Jin, SCP, Haitai and Beunggrae. It's also not good that Na Jung gets barely any actual development and has basically become a love sick puppy. It's also not good that Jung Woo has become so popular in Korea that it seems like the show is showing obvious bias towards Team Trash to appease the audience. Finally, it's not good when the triangle dominates the show with all of what I said.

Luckily, it looks like episode 16 will be a bit focused on the Seo Taiji and the Boys breakup and Yoo Jin's psychological meltdown. I hope the show allows this opportunity to let Na Jung get close to her and help her through this.  Or to have her react. Or to have her do something outside of the context of the triangle. Anything.

Trash is annoying sometimes, but he has his reasons.

plus him and NJ have some terribly cute moments.

i don't really care who they end up with, because it's just drama after all.

some people take things way too seriously.

i'm seeing a lot of comments bashing the writers, Trash and what not, and those comments are the ones that piss me off.

you've already been translated this in another thread by this point, but the full line is more like "i'm happy because sunbaenim is here"

is there an episode tonight?

i assumed there would be, but there's like no buzz about it right now ._.
