Who do you think is Najung's husband

  1. 1. Who do you think is Najung's husband?

Am I the only one who feels like this episode is such a drag to go through? Idk what it is but I just don't feel like watching... especially with Trash's "confession.."

I'm honestly just kind of done with the Trash scenario. I blame the writers for still trying to keep him in the running. But seriously, he needs to figure out what he wants and just tell Najeong. No more being ambiguous.

Tbh I enjoy watching the other kids in the boarding house more than Najeong and her love triangle. Though I really do hope HaeTae becomes a candidate.

yea... i get what you mean. like there's nothing intense really happening when it's already 11 episodes into the drama...

i'm actually more interested in the other characters' interactions because najung's story and stuff has been the same for so many episodes and there's no progress with her loveeee storyyyy, she still hasn't even dated once!!!!!

Haetae was brilliant in the last episode.

but obviously for the 11th, the story is getting nowhere  :._.:

Simple question, do you guys think the cast of 1997 will guest like it was planned? I really hope so, but in the past the show is still in 1995, two years before the prequel.

okay can someone please help me?

why does chilbong and najung act like they never kissed? I mean they should be at least shy in front of each other or something but nope livin' like any normal day...

najeong was being very visible careful around chilbong. she didn't call him to be the date for the friend, and was pretty shaken when she saw him and his friend. she was also trying to avoid trying to hurt him when chilbong asked her if she was going (her face: wtf wtf wtf do i saaaayyyyy).

but other than that, i think it's been like three months in the storyline since the last episode (samcheonpo and yoonjin mention they've been together for 3 months and their first visible couple moment on the show was the kiss last episode).

I'm on the team Haitai bandwagon now.

Yeah... it does feel slow, especially when you think it's going to be 20 friggin episodes (of one hour and a half each, probably) That was actually one of my concerns at first. How will they fill 20 episodes while keeping the interest of the public? At least 1997 was 12 episodes (which were enough imo). But since I lowered my expectations after watching the first few eps, I'm still enjoying it.

Now I'm even more convinced Trash is going to be the husband... I expect a few more misdirects though.

Some new information about the upcoming episodes:

29. I came across an actual copy of the drama filming schedule from October 14, 2013. On that day, they filmed a scene where Samcheonpo and Yoon-jin are attending Kim Gwang Seok’s concert taking place on June 29, 1995. (Note: Kim Gwang Seok’s song “Too Painful of Love Wasn’t Love†was used in the preview video for Episode 12.)

As you may know already, that was the day when the Sampoong Department Store collision occurred and Kim Gwang Seok did actually hold a concert on that day. There is even an actual video clip of him from the concert that day where he announces to the audience the news of the accident in the middle of the concert.

The scenes from that concert will include the audience members’ beepers going off, a close-up shot of Samcheonpo’s and Yoon-jin’s shocked faces near tears, and the two making a call from a phone booth as Yoon-jin sobs.

The filming schedule shows that these scenes will be included in Episode 12.

30.  Episode 13 is titled â€œ10,000-Hour Rule.†The title is a reference to the theory described in the book Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell that the key to mastery of a specific field is by contributing 10,000 hours of your time to practicing that given task.

Also, this episode will have scenes with baby/toddler Ssuk Ssuk. The mother of the baby who will be playing baby Ssuk Ssuk shared that Jung Woo played with her son very well.

31. Despite Director Shim Won Ho’s recent interview that the husband is still undecided, he’s just trolling the viewers. The scripts for all 20 episodes have now been completed according to scriptwriter Lee Woo Jung herself.

I hope they have cameos, I'm looking forward to that the most. I don't think they'll be appearing as their characters from 1997, but more like guesting as different characters, just like how Joo Yeon and Kim Jong Min made guest appearances as different characters from 1997.

“Reply 1994†to Add One More Episode

tumblr_inline_mx0x1oAIBq1rwsbdh.jpg

This could be good or bad news for “Reply 1994†fans.

On November 29, a representative from tvN stated, “We decided to extend ‘Reply 1994’ by one episode so there will be a total of 21 episodes. The drama is currently in the middle of its story, but we decided to extend it an episode because it would have been difficult to explain the story in 20 episodes.â€

“Reply 1994†is currently receiving a lot of attention for breaking the viewership ratings for cable dramas. ABG Nielsen reported that its latest episode, episode 11, had a viewership rating of 9.3%, which is exceptionally high for cable channels. Cable dramas are considered successful if they pass 1% and are labeled highly successful if they pass 5%.

The drama has already surpassed “Reply 1997†in popularity in Korea and critics and fans alike are highly anticipating it to reach double digit ratings.

Meanwhile, the twelfth episode of “Reply 1994†airs on November 29 at 8:40pm (KST).

Thanks for the info, Teeh  :hoplz:

And yeah..

I kind of already knew that the husband was decided and I think everybody knows that that will be Trash, even though they hope for Chilbong or Haitai..  -_-

It looks like Trash will be the husband at the moment but his extra episode they added makes me wonder. Why is there a need for nine more episodes if it's really going to be Trash/Najung at the end? At the end of today's episode they were going to see a musical together hand in hand, it kind of already looked like they were dating. It's going to be really boring if all we're going to see is Trash/Najung for the upcoming nine episodes. I hope this extra episode means there's going to be a plot twist at the end.

You think so? I really hope for a plot twist at the end too (even though I really like Trash. He's my favourite) because, yeah it will be really boring if they will only show how lovey-dovey Trash and Najung are. But there can also be "the parents problem", you know? Like, Trash and Najung really like each other, but her parents see Trash like their own son and can't posibly think of him as their son in law, since the kids grew like real brothers. Just maybe(?) But then again, if Trash isn't the husband, I really hope for Haitai lol

episode 12 impressions

trash really pissed me off in this episode. he knows so much about women and their feelings but he is kinda toying with najung. like, i know he cares and he just wants it to be special, but there's a point where you are just causing unnecessary stress. glad that part's over with, but...

them in the car and at the restaurant. FUCK, trash. what are you doing? she's clearly pissed, so LEAVE IT. don't mess up her food, mess it up more, then poke at her when she very clearly doesn't want to be poked. while i think their feelings for each other are cute, their actual relationship in practice is really annoying for me. i hope they grow past each other, but it's growing increasingly unlikely as the show continues. looks like it's going to be a 1997 repeat.

the older brother really DOES come off as quite helpless (oh my god, i can't believe he thinks he's attractive to women enough that a wink will have them after him, lol).

on the good side, the scenes around the department store collapse were well handled (although the cut off to a few months later was a BIT too sudden in the flow of the episode). najung witnessing the emergency response vehicles and the beepers going off was quite chilling without being super graphic, but it was also good that they showed more graphic and explicit scenes as well.

it was nice to see bing's brother back. he is cute! and is it just me or did he catch sight of something odd in the relationship between bing and trash (in the sense that he might become aware of bing's one-sided affections). i hope if bing is indeed crushing on trash that they don't play it out long like in 1997. not that it wouldn't be cute, but it'd just add to a list of things that feel carbon-copied from 1997.

haetae is really becoming quite amazing. he shows the side of stereotypical straight guys that everyone knows (BOOBS! YES. LEGS TOO! KISSING IS GREAT) while also expressing that there is actually quite a bit of depth that is hidden behind that outward face. also his feelings for najung (if not romantic feelings, then close emotional connection) are very strongly visible despite the limited and subtle moments he has to express them. props for great acting on his part!

i dont feel chemistry between najung and trash anymore. :p

it feels so forced... and it's not cute anymore either.

i mean, it's fun that they're making us guess but i feel like all the film team is doing is going like oh lets make the audience think its him now, oh wait next episode lets make it another one of the guys. it's kind of stalling the progress of the storyline /: and it's kind of getting annoying...especially trash and najung's relationship.

It's the first Korean drama where I really like the 2 dudes fighting for the girl. For once it isn't a mean dude who will have the girl vs the nice and helpless second lead.

I want Najung to end with Chil Bong, but I like the brother-sister relation she have with Trash Oppa. Then there's Haitai... :ahmagah:

They are all so likeable and amazing !

it did and will. MAMA just ruined it for a weekend but now it's over. tvN can go back to tvN and not MNET bis.

Someone at Soompi pointed this out: the toys in Najung's room foreshadow what will happen between her and Trash in that episode.

very cute  :chu:

Although Trash is toying with Najung. At some point of episode 12 I though she would give up and try out things with Chil Bong (after the accident with the emotional shock idk) and he would be left alone with his feelings. If he keeps acting like that she could turn him and even if I think Trash is the husband there must be some drama. It's not realistic and very kdrama if she met her husband without difficulties. I guess 13 will settle this...
