can you call this a plus size model?

She looks to be around a US size 10....probably around 5'11" or so...no, I wouldn't call that plus sized. I think plus sizes in the US start at US 14.

She has a nice body but certainly is much bigger than most models. If she ain't shopping in the plus sized section they shouldn't call her plus sized though.

Fashion model is 86-60-86 or by older standard 90-60-90, if you want.

Myla Dalbesio is 98-81-107.

So yes, she's plus size.

Size is not determined by how someone looks but whether a you can fit into clothes because it's made to measure. Models also have height requirements, but I don't see anyone complaining that 160cm ladies are not walking the runaway, they certainly can't change their height.

Poor girl though she is really pretty and her body is great, but the fashion industry will find her to heavy but at the same plus size industry and their demographic will consider it an insult to have her model plus size. Their doesn't seem to be a market for "regular" or "realistic" sized modeling which is sad because its probably the most healthy image the fashion industry can project to general public.

Americans: heck no, wtf!

Non-Americans: obvi

edit: well I'm getting negged for this, but as an American I just think we have different standards, especially since most of our fashion media centers on celebrities who don't always have typical proportions (I mean, Kim Kardashian?). And although CK may be an American line, most of the "fashion industry" is based in Europe so I assumed folks there are more used to seeing models with industry-standard looks, which would make this girl scream 'plus size' to them. But carry on!
